Thanks Lib. I know there is no need but it would be nice if they actually saw it and stop their childishness once and for all. Its nice that there are nice brides and members here who also like me are in a good mood and enjoy the spirit of weddings and all the fun they bring.

Now they have my old postcode, and our rough itinerary do you think they will admit they were wrong? Not a chance!

But they will know it. :-)

(Kir you said our number was listed in the white pages, are you sure??)

No I said the winner's number was listed in the white pages - the Australian published the name and post code of the winner, and yes, that person is listed in the white pages.

We have 12 months to take the trip, so the sooner we start saving and planning the more prepared we will be when we go away, and the more we will be able to see and experience. At the moment we are trying to get the bigger wedding things out of the way before the big day, once those are almost done we are going to figure out this honeymoon business. Hopefully we can go Nov or Dec through to Feb or so.

Kir - It is us that won, so would you PM me the phone number that came up with 'your' search as I find it hard to believe.

OMFG, I can't believe you people. Keep it private, you don't have to tarnish someone, because of your previous dealings. Get a life and leave her to live hers. This is a public board, you can't trust everyone, live and let live. I give her the benifit of the doubt too.

Here here. Well said Lib. I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt too. Have a great trip, it sounds great!

Well was the postcode I gave above correct or was I wrong? Seems everyone is so quick to point fingers but when they realize the truth, they cant even admit they were wrong. Its sad teagreen, kir, empress, *michelle*, and pinksweetie21 think I am a liar but the facts are above and proven and still no response from them.

Anyway on another topic for those of you who cant afford a honeymoon, we would have maybe done a few nights at a hotel in the city and then differed the honeymoon for a while so I totally can sympathize.

What I would love to know is, well you know how in Australia we have certain motel chains that have loyalty cards such as the choicehotels.com.au and so on, does anyone know anything like this but on a more international scale at all?

Were you entered into like a frequent flyer competition, is that how you won it?

So if your going to accuse me of thinking your a liar, i'd like to see where i have stated "YOU ARE A LIAR". There is nothing wrong with asking when the wedding is???? blink.gif

Dressed in pink, makes the boys wink.

I went through my posts too (couldn't be bothered going back and quoting them) and could not find where I said you were a liar.

I asked when your honeymoon was.
Then I asked Kir if she had scanned them.
Then I asked where you were in your moment of glory.

I really didn't want to waste my time replying to this but just wanted to set the record straight like pinksweetie21 did.

I honestly hope that you have a great trip.

I think the tone of some messages in here was clearly implying that Dew was lying.

either way does it really matter what they were implying or not implying? these are just words on a screen, open to many different interpretations. personally i read pink's comments and saw nothing mallicious in them.

Theres kind of something weird about checking to see if the winner is listed in the white pages......isn't there???

I've just read through this topic and I have to agree with you - whoever it was that felt the need to 'investigate' must have waaaaay too much time on their hands... its a little creepy.

I think that the posts on their own were not accusatory but I think when read in the context of others could have read as being cynical. It is a real issue on these internet forums that the tone of posts can so often be misinterpreted particularly when the reader combines the tone with the tone of the posts surrounding them. I know I have re-read some of my posts and gone back and either edited them or PM'd the person as the tone or meaning could be misinterpreted. I am not having a go at anyone here just seeing both sides.
