We're doing that too- we've hired a jazz quartet for the ceremony (outside)- still stuck on instrumental songs! And then a DJ for the reception with a jazz lounge theme. We're going to stick mainly to the oldies- Frank Sinatra, Dean Martins, Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennet.
"Moon River" for the waltz
"Can't take my eyes off you" for the leaving circle
that's all we know for official dances so far- ther are so many great ones to choose from!

I know I am going to sound very blonde here (no offence to other fellow blondes!!).
I went to a wedding (a friend of a friend kind of thing) when overseas during Christmas break.
The music that they walked down to was beautiful and very haunting (with meaningful words for couples) and they only thing I have been able to find out was that it was Sarah McLachlan (unsure if spelling is right).
Because I don't really know them I don't have a means of finding out easily.
Can anyone think what it could have been?
Look forward to any guidance whatsoever.

Sarah McLachlan is a Canadian artist and you're right, her music is very haunting. Her previous album is called Surfacing, and there are a few songs in there whose lyrics are very 'coupley'. There is a song on this album called Angel, which is very haunting.
If you want to listen to snippets of the music .. go to @firstname.lastname@example.org and do a search on the artist/music. Hope you find what you're after.
