Just thought I would add that when I was a teenager I used to have frequent dreams about things that were going to happen. The worst was I dreamt my parents got divorced. I dreamt my auntie's wedding(including her getting ready) and it happened just as it did in my dream.
Then was I turned about 20 they stopped and just recently have started back up again. They are always small things and usually are about good things.

I have also noticed my dreams that come true usually involve family.

My experience was a dream where the sister of one of my friends was telling me I had to get my friend to call her. My friends sister lived in the UK.

So as stupid as I felt I went to church and told my friend you have to call your sister - then she freaked out and wanted to know why she had to call her, was something wrong etc and I didn't have anymore information other than she had to call.

That day she called her sister and the sister said she had been trying to get hold of her a stack of times with no success - she was so glad she called.

This was really weird because I have never met my friends sister because she lives in the UK

Just wanted to add to this by sharing my FH's experience last week - not a dream premonition, but like an out-of-body experience. This happened the first night after an accident at work where a switchboard exploded in his face and burnt his eyes with the flash. For the rest of that day he had patches and antiseptic ointment on both eyes and was completely blind. Anyway, the next morning when we woke up he told me straight away 'I had an out-of-body experience'. The funny thing is that FH is a massive sceptic, he always doubts the stories I tell him about my mum and such, so I was surprised to hear him say this with such conviction. I said to him "are you sure it wasn't a dream?" and he said no, it was completely different to dreaming, and somehow he knew that was exactly what had happened. He was out of his body in our bedroom looking around, and everything was shimmery and strange, and these little balls of light were flying around. He felt like he was like a ball of light as well and he told me 'they were like the energies of people who were either out of their bodies as well or dead. We're all forces of energy inside'. He said one of the balls of light was hanging very close to me as I slept. The funny thing is, that night I'd had a very vivid dream where I was speaking to my dad, who is dead. So I said 'hmmm, maybe dad visited me last night'.

It's kind of like being deprived of his eyesight for the whole day, opened him up to another kind of 'sight'. Very weird!

About five years ago I had a car accident where I wrote my car off bout 10 km from the town my FH lived in. A couple of weeks before this I had actually dreamt the whole thing. After I had the accident I flagged a truck down who gave me a lift back into town and while I was in the truck with them I said to them that I had actually dreamt about this. And the other funny thing that got me was I remember the doctor taking blood from me and then sticking it in the fridge in my dream and at that time I thought it was the weirdest thing to do. Anyways, in real life when it did happen, the doctor took my blood and stuck it in the fridge and the hospital room was exactly as it was in my dream. So spooky.

Since then I have had many many de ja vu moments but nothing as depicted like this dream.

I had a preminition dream recently which was easily the goriest dream I've ever had!! I dreamt of a man who raped many women and drugged them in a basic drink that looked like milk. He made them unconscious. I felt the fear the shame, shivering, and everything those poor women experienced. It went on from case to case sad.gif

I watched the news this morning (having absolutely NEVER heard of this case before) and they had the man they called the 'hot chocolate rapist'. I saw images of the man in the car and it was a strong resemblance. My husbund knew I dreamt of this and we both just looked at each other and got chills up the spine. Ew!

I saw the necklace that my grandmother gave me before she got alzheimers, and went all funny this morning, so I put it on. A few minutes later grandpa called the house for help because she isn't doing so great today. I hope she's ok, but if she did go at least she would be at peace and not so lost and confused. I just want to race home from work and make sure everything is alright. sad.gif

I get the dreams too. I woke up crying when the bali bombings happened. Sometimes I wish I didn't dream at all.

It seems that a lot of us have a 'gift'. I wonder if this is something that will be developed in years to come?

I think I have been having dreams about my unborn child, I am talking to a little kid in my dreams with wild curly hair and I think its a female. Since I don't know the sex of our baby I guess I will have to wait and see as I did have a very vivid dream before falling pregnant about a baby girl.

i have dreams often, some come true, some not, but some just seem 2 "click" with whats going on with my life. i had a dream i was pregnant, i was stunned, picked up my mobile 2 ring my mum, which is where the dream ended. i had af, but following morning, a dear.

i'm not religous by any means, but i do think of myself as spiritual & some things that happen simply can't be explaioned.

Gosh this is an old thread!

I had a dream about my friend, and dreamt she was quite pg with a boy, and they called him Harrison.

I told her about the dream, and she nearly fell off the chair in shock. She'd just got a BFP the week before, and Harrison was her favourite name for a boy. Since then, she's found out the gender of the baby... and it's a boy.

I'm freaky!!

I don't really have dreams that are premonitions but I get De Ja Vu....ALL the time, and when it happens I know I've dreamt of that moment before, sometimes I feel many years before it happened. Usually when it happens alot close together something in my life is about to be turned upsidedown.....a change is coming.

About 30% of my dreams are premonitions, exact down to very small details- I go through that moment in time in my dream, exactly as it hapens later IRL. When that moment actually happens IRL the sense of deja vu is very strong, as I've seen it all before.

I also have a knack for dreaming that people are pregnant before they are. Has worked for the last 7 or so people I know that have fallen pregnant.

ooh l get chills reading this!

I get really bad Deja-vu all the time, where it gets to the point where i can tell certain people what they will say before they do, but i dunno if its from a dream, or if i just know them so much that i can predict what they will say,

I remember when my aunt was passing away, we were due to go to ACT on a holiday, i didnt want to go, but she told me and FH that she wanted us to go, and she wanted us to have a good time, and on the saturday while we were down there i just started crying and crying saying that i think she passed away that day, and when we got home on the monday mum came over with flowers and i just said 'what day did it happen' and she said 'saturday' and i thought that was really odd..

but thats not really a dream i guess.. my sister gets weird ones that come true all the time, i'll ask her later and post some of her experiences!

Wow Ariannan. That's amazing ohmy.gif

I don't know if I just have deja vu or if I really do dream things (small details, like a flash of a scene - similar to what Creative spoke of in her first post) before they happen but I sometimes find myself in situations where I just KNOW that I've dreamed something. Perhaps it's just deja vu, as I've never felt that before. I'm not sure wacko.gif
