poor little jaspa... I hope he gets better!

How old is Jaspa? I was sure there were laws regarding to the age of selling puppies..... though I might very well be mistaken...

and just because the pet store is saying 15 days and you forfeit refund/warranty... make sure you check with the department of fair trading... they might be just saying that (the pet shop) so you do not litigate against them..

*hugs* fingers crossed!

I know how gutted you must feel right now, but try to stay positive.. I had a similar situation with my baby cat about two years ago now.. I had to hold back from being sick everytime I thought of the situation..

I really hope this time passes quickly for you and that a true miracle brings him back home to you and hubby.. xx

I am sending all my good thoughts to you, hubby and Jaspa. He is at the best place he can be and I am sure the vets are looking after him lovingly.

I hope they get to the bottom of it ASAP and he makes a full recovery soon so he can be back home with you.

Oh poor Jaspa sad.gif

Sending him big hugs and puppy kisses from Molly and me. I know how scary it is, i went through something like this only a few weeks ago (although it wasn't as serious as this).

Get well little man! xx

Thanks girls your thoughts mean so much to me and Jaspa, i called the vet this morning and they have said he hasnt eaten anything however they seem baffled as he is still very alert when he is awake and doesnt seem very bothered by the experience, he doesnt seem to be in any pain either.

The vet said that he doesnt have parvo, but possibly a blockage of his intestines, throut or stomach, and only a xray could show something, however they have said if they do an xray and find something they couldnt operate as he is too small he currently is at 750 grams and 7 weeks old.

Girls you are amazing, i dont post very much i am a little shy, however i have been a member for 3 years since before my wedding i was Frangipani prior to the new site upgrade, and lost my prior registration when it changed over. becuase i hae no pictures or avatar ( i dont know how to do these) i feel ignored when i do post as there seems to be many groups in here. However i do follow your lives and sympathise to your situations and am happy for you all when you acheive somehting in life you wished for. I follow all your pregnancies and feel that i ahve a thousand friends there if i ever need them, so thank you girls with out this post today and last night i dont know how i would have managed, so thank you girls for taking the time out of your days to reply to a sooky lady with pet troubles it means so much, i will let you all know when i hear anything about JASPA.

thanks

Mrs Barnes ( aka JASPA's very worried mummy)

That does sound baffling that he is alert and playful even though he hasnt eaten. Is there anyway they can tube feed him or something like that? so he is getting something?

Well that is some good news at least. I know that any vet worth their weight in kibble is going to try their very very best to get to the bottom of lil Jaspa's troubles.

Well I spose now if they find any blockages they'll know where they need to operate. I'm pretty sure they'd still be able to tube feed him to get some weight on him. Above all else he sounds like a fighter which truly helps when they get so sick. Glad to hear Parvo has been taken out of the scenario as it's a scary disease for dogs let alone a puppy.

It sounds like you have a great vet too which will help ease your mind, if only a little.

Sending good vibes your way for you & Jaspa.
