We have had to take our furbaby to the doggy hospital today as he refuses to eat anything, since we have had him he will not eat and is occasionally sick.

I have cried so much today I am so in love with him and cannot imagine loosing him ( gosh i am going to be hopeless when i have a sick babay oneday).

The petshop are paying all medical bills up to the amount we paid for him but if it gets more than that we have to make a decision if we want to continue the treatment to find out what is wrong with him or to let nature take it course. We of course will pay what we have to save him he is our child.

We have been told however as disguting as this is if we prolong his life longer than 15 days and he passes away (which is a 50/50 chance) we forfeit our guarantee or refund. HOw can they get away with treatment of animals like that refund or exchange, like i am going to give birth to a child and then it gets sick and then go and exchange him for another one its not that simple there are feelings here. Lucky we dont have children just yet imagine have to tell then you had a puppy but we have to seap it fot another one.

sorry for the ramble - i dont know how i am going to sleep tonight - please think of our little Jaspa tonight and wish him get well vibes, he is too precious to loose.

Whats wrong with him?

That is disgusting that they sell such animals to trusting people. Its not about the money, its about the heartbreak. You shouldn't have to be going through this. Its just not right.

You poor thing, and poor Jaspa sad.gif

Your right its the heartbreak, it broke my heart to leave him there today and i know it broke his too, i really hope i get the chance to see him again all well and better cause i couldnt bear to see him still so ill,

They are not sure what is wrong, at first they thought he was fretting and wouldnt eat and just slept the whole time, however they are now saying he might have a blockage in his throut, tummy or intestines. My husband is gropable, we ahve called the rspca to ask if per shops have any obligations reagrding selling of animals that young however in australia there is no such rules or obligations.

this jsut make me so sad and cranky

please everyone pray for Jaspa, this is coming from a very none goddy person but i will do anything.

Im so sorry to hear Mrs Barnes. I hope that Jaspa gets better very quickly. There shoulodnt be anything said about him being from a pet shop, this could happen when hes from a private seller and the seller didnt look after him etc. I hope that tomorrow you can post some better news for us.

ETA i wasnt aware he was so young. Im praying for him

OMG that would be unbearable knowing you have to leave him there & not be able to comfort him or know what's going on.

Fingers & paws crossed in our house tonight that Jaspa pulls through & makes a full recovery.

How heartless for the petshop to be shoving legal obligations to you whilst this is all happening, very thoughtless of them.

Let us know more news as you get it & my pm box is always open if you wanna talk.

sad.gif You must be so worried. I know how it feels when your furbaby goes in to the Vets. Here's hoping Jaspa's stay is a short one, and he's back at home chewing your shoes and fingers in no time smile.gif

Please let us know how he goes!
