Welcome stickplease....

Wow, we're filling up quickly in here. Thanks for doing the list. I'm going to copy & paste into the very first post so we always have it quick at hand.

Looking forward to the reveal. But don't think there's any pressure to reveal early....I know what it means to have a rough time of it. That's why I haven't revealed yet....I need to be absolutely certain that everything will be ok. If you want to chat about anything pm me and perhaps we can help allay each others fears.... smile.gif

As for my symptoms, REALLY sore boobs, and waves of nausea before getting out of bed and lots of getting up in the middle of the night... tongue.gif but hey, I'm ok with that.

Anyway, glad its becoming a little party zone in here and hpe to see a few more along the way.

Now, must choof off and clean the bathroom *groan*....

Take care girls, much luv

MM.

MrsTm - where are you that you need to book into a hospital already!!! Are you going to a private hospital?

I am in Brisbane and am planning to use the good old RBWH smile.gif

I have my Drs appointment this afternoon. I am so nervous, like this is not real and that I will realise that I am not pregnant or something! as for symptoms I am noticing going to the loo in the middle of the night, but on a plus we just bought a house with an ensuite, so it is an easy trip!

last night I kept waking up with nightmares too and found it hard to get back to sleep.

Bec, I remember my doctors appointment to confirm. I felt like a little girl who shouldn't be going to the doctor about those sorts of things laugh.gif

I have my 16 week antenatal checkup with my GP next Wednesday. Hoping to be able to listen to bubs' heartbeat wub.gif

I hope the first 12 weeks goes quickly for you ladies so that you can see your babies real soon!!!!

Hi, tetra here. Hope you all had a lovely Chrissy. When you're pregnant it definitely is more tiring, visiting relatives and watching what you eat, and it's so hard not to be able to drink any alcohol!

I also have a Dr's appointment this week ( blood test on Friday ) to confirm but I have done a total of about 6 tests and 2 digital tests that have all come up positive but it's just reassuring getting the blood test done, for me anyway! When I get the results, I will let you know so it's updated on the list of September mummies. I did my last test today ( a first response ) just to make sure the line was getting darker and the line is definitely a darker pink. I was just concerned cause I did my first tests at 9, 10, and 11 DPO and I just wanted to make sure the line was getting darker so i knew the HCG levels were increasing, and they are.

I have found myself worrying about what can go wrong in pregnancy, and I'm sure alot of 1st time mums do, is it normal to worry?

Have a great night, see ya :-)

PS: Can just barely keep my eyes open !

Tetra, it's totally normal to worry. I don't think I will stop worrying until I reach the finish line. Only then will I feel relief.

And it's normal to feel tired. Get sleep when you can.

Well, I've rung the dr to get my results and they are going to call back....I'm going mental waiting tongue.gif Hubby is on a cleaning frenzy and I'm feeling a tad guilty being on here rather than helping him out...lol...but hey, I do everything around here it won't kill him to do something on his own right? laugh.gif

Anyway, hope you're all well. Chat soon,

MM.

Stickplease, big hugs. I'm very sorry.

Well, I went for my doctor's appointment today and he made me feel much better about everything. First of all, I am now paranoid that I'm not pregnant - despite three BFPs. It's just ridiculous because I have the most achey boobs and all sorts of other feelings inside but just because the blood test makes it official, I now don't think I am!!! I have to call the docs at 1.30 tomorrow for the results.

I talked to him about things that were worrying me...like the huge amount of alcohol I drank before Christmas when I didn't think I was PG. He told me not to worry at all and that it is common for this to happen and the baby will be fine. He says it is sustained heavy drinking throughout pregnancy that causes problems.

He also assured me I can do the pier to pub swim next weekend, do the Bolte Bridge 14km run in April (when I'll be 5 1/2 months) and play netball and do weights at the gym as often as I am doing now and that I just have to stop if I feel tired and listen to my body. Having said that, yes Tetra, I have the same worries as you about stuff and just pray for a healthy baby.

I bought a fantastic baby book yesterday and have started reading that. It charts your pregnancy week by week.

Is anyone extra super dooper hungry? I am starving in the mornings particularly. Also, when I went running this morning, my breasts were so sore I had to hold them! I think I need a more supportive sports bra.

I got the results of my blood test this morning, we went sure of I was 4 or 8 weeks. It has been confirmed as just over 4 so I have just made it to a September Mummies biggrin.gif

Stickplease hang in there, my first TTC didn't stick and it is heart breaking.

mrsTM I need a better bra too, I think I will have to hit the sales later and see what I can find by the end of the day they are sooo tender. I couldn't see my own Dr and the one I saw didn't say much at all, I go back next week to see my own.

Gotta go

Sam

I am also paranoid right now that I am not really pregnant and just want to cry all day! I am also disapointed that yesterday I couldnt get into see my Dr, so I saw someone else and they didnt really do anything, just sent me for some blood tests and that was it. They were not prepared to talk to me about my concerns which I wasnt happy about... i hope that my blood tests come back good tomorrow and I will make an appointment with my normal Dr for next week.

I am so sorry for the losses that have already occured here sad.gif

Can you please add me to the list!

We are due with #2 Early September, roughly 3rd September (which funny enough was the exact due date of Lauren wink.gif She was born on the 2nd)

I am having a home birth with this bubba so haven't been to the doctors or anything yet, I will go to a homebirth meeting in the new year and have a chat to the ladies, try and find me a midwife and go from there. Am also considering putting my name on the birthing centre ballot at RWBH (Bec have you thought about this?)

Very excited to be joining this thread andd sharing the journey with you ladies smile.gif

Hi Dee - you look just like a friend of mine from your Avatar pic! But she has a little boy!

As for the bithing suite, it is a nice idea - but right now I want my options open to an epidural etc.. I love the idea of a natural birth, but dont know if I could go through with it! I think that you are brave to have your baby at home, but I have heard that is the best place often.

right now I am concentrating on my own positive sticky vibes. I am afraid that I am a big worrier at times and this morning I had the "lightest" pinkish discharge when wiping and FREAKED out! has stopped now and didnt happen any other time then when I went to the toilet, but still... i get my blood tests tomorrow - so hopefully they will be all good and then I will make an appointment to see my usual doctor and get it all out how I feel and with any luck i will walk away feeling better!
