I have been having a similar dream over the past month or so, where I am showing people through our new house (We have lived here for two months) and the kids or people who we are showing through find a new room in the house!
When we find the new room (usually through a door or window i hadnt noticed), i havent been able to stop smiling, i get so excited by it all, and when i wake up i feel really happy.

Its a nice dream to have, but a little weird at the same time!

Ooooh I have a similar dream too! I've love to know what it means. In my dream I have a second story and discover a hidden set of stairs to the 2nd story.

Im not sure really!
Ive done a bit of self-analysis, and think it has a lot to do with my promotion last week.
It has 'opened doors' that i didnt realise were there for my career.

At least i assume thats what its about smile.gif

I've had a really similar dream, too.. a few times now, actually. In the dreams I always find the same hidden room (a really big lounge room to the right of our house, off our hallway), and I get so excited that I wake up... but it doesn't take long to realise that it was just a dream, and my house is just as small as it always was. sad.gif

I found this..

QUOTE
Discovering new rooms in a house—typically a pleasant dream—reflects the rediscovery of “lost” aspects of the self. This dream is common in women who have sacrificed personal hobbies and passions (painting, music, desires to own a small business) for the responsibilities of parenting. It’s time to reconnect with your passion!

Houses are a consistent metaphor for the self. Upper floors and rooftops symbolize higher functions, such as consciousness, thinking, and spiritual perspective. Basements and cellars represent subconscious feelings and awarenesses. Large houses with many rooms may be metaphors for extended family lines.

biggrin.gif Your dreams are good so dont stress. To find in dreams that you discover new rooms, suggests that you are developing new strengths and taking on new roles in your life. You may be growing emotionally. this can mean by marriage or having a child and sharing it with someone close.

I hope this helps.. Is this room a yellow colour by any chance? Just curious.

Cheers

I have had a very similar dream that I find a big living room out the back of my house. This was a few years ago now. I always thought that is was because our house has only one living area so it was kind of wishful thinking.

Willow I think mine was a yellow with cream trim.
