Hello brides and grooms (or mums and dads)

My husband is getting more and more baby mad as the months go by... *laughs*

We both want children. But I think he is taking the whole 'daddy' idea to heart.

We've been trying to conceive since late last year, but the original idea was to have kids in around 6months.. But we thought those extra few months of practice cant hurt..

Except that now we're getting more and more. *shrug* "Oh why not now.." or more to the point.. Why not get serious now..

So.. we are both getting excited.. Going for the health tests and stuff in the coming weeks.. Thinking about getting husband onto some kind of supplement (zinc or multi)

Any suggestions??

i had to break it to him, that my career is taking off, my life is wonderful and i really don't want another baby right now ! I Live M but 1 is enough to deal with at the moment !

not much help for you , but good luck Twinnie !!!!!

PS- he hates me , i am selfish ! ( we will work through it )

I so understand this. If my hubby had of had his way he would have had me pregnant for the wedding!

He is so keen to be a daddy and i am wanting to be a mummy too. However i don't think he realises that these things don't just happen overnight IFYKWIM..

I think he is maybe a little bit baffled by my body as i have not had AF since may but am definitely not pregnant (blood test).

I am starting to think that he thinks there is something wrong, we have not even been married for 6 months yet - almost but not quite...

It is so sweet to know that he is as keen as to be a daddy!

Yeah, I do wonder sometimes if he would have enjoyed our wedding a little more with a mini me walking down the aisle as a ring bearer/flower. Over the last few months we have seen quite a few of our friends fall pregnant - So it's a little frustrating when people then assume.. and even COMMENT on the fact that 'Oh i thought it was going to be you next' or 'I thought you wanted children'
Bah - Back off you rude unthinking people.

h2b and I got clucky at the same time roughly, and in the end (the month we FINALLY fell pregnant) I was taking folate supplements and h2b started on ... I can't remember what it's called, but it was just bought from woolies, near the pregnancy tests. I know it had a zinc supplement in it smile.gif

Definately me clucky first, although didn't take much convincing,

Klay went onto Zinc tablets, and when we start the IVF again, because we know he will give another sample he will start on the Zinc tablets agian - don't know if they really do much still, but meh it can't hurt.

He also has cut down his drinking and eats alot better now!! HE quit smoking over a year ago so taht is good!

Yep, nods at Renee' *wave*

We're on the zinc/folate merry go'round now. We'll just have to see what happens I guess tongue.gif I am starting to get a little frustrated with the whole "timing" - "planning/plotting our activities" I guess only time will tell hey.

Hello, Thought I might do a quick update. After a few false starts over the past year we are still on the long road to babies. Hubby is still really excited about the idea of children. At the moment we are looking back into herbal remedies and the physical changes about one another. He is easing back on the beer and I am getting back into shape (slowly) I keep putting off admitting that we need more help. *shrug*

How is everyone else dealing with parenthood?

Yeah we consult a Naturopath. He takes extra Magnesium, plus he buys Swiss E & Fish Oil. It's just a boost at the moment while we are in the process of TTC. Our diets are very good, but we just don't want to take any risks.

We both were thinking of it, but he was cluckier than me to start with.
Now we are both extremely so! smile.gif
