Oh I am so sorry to hear that you lost your last pup. It must be an extremely difficult time for you. I know I would be devestated it I lost my dog. When I lost my last dog, I was a complete wreck. Pets really are a large part of the family and it doesn't feel the same without them.

Take care of yourself.

Renee I'm really sorry to hear that Mickey didn't make it. Like I said before I know sort of how you're feeling, but only with one, not with a whole litter and a mum...
This is so sad.

Belinda whilst i understand the point of your post, i don't think your fears were warranted in the first place, my little girl was given the best care a pregant dog could of been given. This could of happend to any dog, regardless of the age, shape, or size, it can even happen to breeders as well. And although I am not a breeder, I was given very very good guidance on how to handle this pregancy. Thankyoy for the words in your post - but some of it was not needed.

I think you may have taken it the wrong way.....I feared the worst not because of anything to do with you, but because

1. There are so many things that can go wrong no matter how good a breeder you are or how well things seem to be going.

2. I have had to deal with unforseen complications in dog whelping first hand.

I didn't mean it had anything to do with your experience, just that things so often go wrong with bitches that give birth....in any situation.

Sorry if I upset you.

ETA I just read about Mickey then. I am so sorry Renee sad.gif

What a terrible loss, I don't know what to say but you are on my mind right now. All the best getting through this terribly tough time.

RIP your gorgeous furbabies sad.gif

I'm so sorry lil Mickey didn't make it Renee. At least he'll be with his mum over the rainbow bridge now. Try & channel all that anger into love & pour it all over Ozzy as I'm sure he's very confused right now too. No words can make you feel much better at this time but just know lots of us are thinking of your family at this time.
