I love Evas hairstyle and I think it would look gorgeous on you. You wouldn't have to have it so 'boofy' maybe thats what H2b didn't like about it. I think you can still show off your fantastic earrings with your hair down (as long as it is back and not hanging over them) smile.gif

I'd say the earrings will be noticeable even with the half up half down do's you've posted, look at how much eva's earrings stand out there.

Plus you've got dark hair, so the bling will stand out more against the dark!

I say take them all in and get him to advise you on what will look best.

You could even get him to loosely do two of them for you to see what they'd basically look like to decide and then get him to do the chosen one properly??

Jen all the photos look great but if it was me I would just be suiting myself - on the actual day your hubby will love however you have it and won't be looking at the detail of the style too much.

It is more important you feel a million dollars - go with your gut and your stylists instincts

It's not like you to be undecisive on something Jenny wink.gif

The other girls are right, on the day, however you have your hair, Marc will be blown away by how beautiful you look, so if is completely up to you in the end. Saying that, I think a half half do would look amazing, like Evas, it just enough up to add style, enough length to show off you beautiful hair and wouldn't take away at all from your earrings or your dress smile.gif

You're going to look beautiful no matter what. smile.gif

And sorry, but you are going to look soooo devine and be so busy that Marc is going to have much time, or brain space, so single out and judge your hair. smile.gif So pleasing yourself is what is best here. You'll be the one who knows if your hair isn't just how you want it and that will come through in your 'glow'. I think make sure that you love how you look and Marc will be happy. biggrin.gif

So if I was you I would get a trial for the Jackie O do. It's the most difficult but your all time fave. And then if your stylist can't pull it off you can go for another. I think the Jackie O would look amazing on you, and then secondly I would go for Lindsay Lohan's do. Anything with that soft sweepy fringe on you would be beautiful. wink.gif

For those who haven't seen pics of Jen - she's absolutely gorgeous and would look smashing wearing bed hair and a garbage bag. tongue.gif smile.gif

is this the way to go then? Hehehehehe biggrin.gif

Seriously, i love all those styles, but you need to do what will suit you best, and what YOU love.

Good luck making a decision.

I think anything would look great on you! Try not to stress I only finalised my hairstyle the day before my wedding! I just put my faith in the hairdresser, I gave her a rough idea of what I wanted and she worked her magic. Good luck you will look gorgeous no matter wat style you chose.

Perhaps Marc doesn't like them on those women, but if you went with something your hair guy feels will look great on you (and similar to the ones to your taste), he may think differently.

I myself am thinking of changing to getting it fully down...

This could very well be the case, I know my h2b is swayed by who the person is when I show him pic's of things!!!

Hi Miss Mookz!

I had my hair done like Jackie O and I have only shoulder length very fine hair but my hairdresser recreated it faithfully. She added some false hair pieces and curled it in tongs and it stayed in place all day. If you have longer and thicker hair, this style would be no problem for your hairdresser to do.

I am in a total dilemma what to do with mine for my next wedding. I am also having my hair half up half down but can't find a picture to suit what I want but my hairdresser (different one to the last wedding) is insisting I take something along showing what I want. Hope you don't mind sharing your trial pics to give me inspiration!

if he does think that ( which i know he wont) tell him to write his thoughts on a piece of paper and then promptly throw that paper in the bin

all those styles are great... though i reckon up styles are more formal and show of gorgeous dress and accessories better

I think all of those styles are great (although I have to agree with the last one not being that special). I am giving my H2B no say in what I wear or how I wear my hair, etc! It's all meant to be a surprise.

For your dress, necklace, etc, though.. I think the Jackie O hairstyle would look great (if the hairdresser could do it).
