Is that for Estee Lauder at any David Jones or just a specific one? I went to this amazing Brazilian woman once in Brissie who was amazing, she spent at least an hour on my eyebrows and must of cut each hair individually. When I went back she had left and didnt have contact details. I was gutted. Still am sad.gif

Yeah, the girl is in the City store. I went to Chantelle I think her name (or somethingn similar) was but she was leaving and training Simone!!! (Nice name hey) but the one I had was opening her own brow bar in Bondi. Otherwise, you could go to Sharon Lee and pay a fortune for it.

It is a long waiting list so book in early.

Great tips although the one about washing your hair a day before always gets me. I know it is because apparently day old washed hair is more manageable but there is no way I won't get my hair washed on the day.

I'm a daily hair washer and much prefer the look of my hair freshly washed and styled.

Hi, I had my hair trial yesterday and I did the big mistake, even after reading this post. I washed my hair wink.gif

The hair stylist was upset with me and told me that cos my hair is straight and smooth (asian black hair) it would difficult for her to style my hair.

But she still did a great job...the hair style manage to stay up all day and didn't have a problem. But I did promise her I won't wash my hair on the day. But I might be tempted and just blow dry and not let her know tongue.gif Can't stand me hair being oily.

Yeah I'm asian too and my hair always feels crap straight after I've washed it.. by 'crap' I mean it won't hold any style and it's just too soft and ...smooth? and seems to just stick to my head. it just doesn't have enough texture to hold anything.. I've lost sooooo many hair elastics because they just slip straight out of my hair! regardless of whether it's oily or freshly washed.. I even bought these special rubber type ones (designed for swimming) and they still fall out - ARGGHHHH the curse of Asian hair..

Another thing i forgot to include in the tips but I have posted it elsewhere before is to exfoliate your skin with bi carbonate soda - a couple of teaspoons in the bath with you. it is much cheaper then the stuff you get in the shop. If you live near a beach though, another alternative is to you sand (which is what I always do when I go to the beach). So next time you go to the beach and you see someone doing this, it is probably me! biggrin.gif

I also booked an appointment with the girls at Estee Lauder and like Shelley my appt is also on the 27th May!

I also had to give my credit card details to secure the booking, i guess they don't just want people booking in if they're not serious.

sand in the bath? wouldnt u get a sandy.................................... :S
You can travel the world, But you can't run away,
From the person you are in your heart,
You can be who you want to be, Make us believe in you,
Keep all your light in the dark,
If you're searching for truth, You must look in the mirror,
And make sense of what you can see,
Just be.... Just Be..

Face up to the fact: That you are who you are
and nothing can change that belief...
Just be... Just Be.
