I am trying my very hardest to convince H2B to wear a chocolate brown suit for the wedding. My preference would be that it's pin stripe too but i think i'm pushing my luck with it already unsure.gif

Can you please post any piccies of guys in chocolate brown suits so i can show him how hot it looks?

I swear there was a post on this before (and it had lots of pics in it) but considering how 'great' the search engine is wink.gif I can't find it. Personally I'm not a fan sad.gif

I had trouble convincing my H2b too Jenny. I think he pictured the old 80s style brown suit, like my father wore to his wedding wink.gif But now he's happy to oblige!

That first one you posted Calmia is what my h2b is wearing, the Zenetti suit, it's available at Myer, Spurling, and some other places too.

It looks HOT on!!

He walked out of the change room with it on and I was like man you look HOT!

Yep, that's the one my H2b is wearing. Its also a Ferrari suit. The second one I posted is from Roger David. I think quite a few girls here are having chocolate pinstripe suits..

hi

ooooohh i know lots about chokkie brown suits now as my brother is wearing one for his wedding

Morrissey have a milk chocolate pinstripe one, calibre have a lovely dark chocolate pinstripe (very classic if you are worried about fasion dating) and ben sherman also have a nice dark chocolate one

if you go for the darker chocolate and a pinstripe then it is still brown but looks very classic, the milk chocolate looks like it might date quickly

My DH wore a dark chocolate brown suit with a light pinstripe for our wedding.

Here's a photo of him in it
suit 1

This is a photo of the three guys - DH was the only one wearing brown

The three boys

Personally, I liked the brown suit but we did shop for ages to find that shade cause the others were too light or too caramel shaded. Our colour theme was chocolate, latte and pink.

Hope that helps!

Cheers,
Kristy

we had choc brown 3 piece suits and the guys LOVED them, we had trouble getting them out of them at the end of the night - they wanted to wear them out nightclubbing biggrin.gif

I hope this photo can do it justice, they were so stylish and I really dont think the colour is so obvious that they will date any worse then any dark coloured suit.

Ours were italian wool from a small hire place in Canberra. If it is too small a picture check out my photo link below...

Girls all your guys suits are devine!

I dont think i can convince him though, he just told me it brings him back to the 70's (not like he was even born then! dry.gif )

I must say the suit h2b tried on was wool, and it was quite dark and look really really good.

He also tried on a cheap synthetic suit in brown pin-stripe and it looked TERRIBLE!

But I honestly think it depends on the style of your wedding - your going vintage aren't you?

We're having the brown pinstripe mainly cos it's a vintage theme, and it just suits the whole look so much better.

I think if a suit is cut well and a good fabric it will never date quickly.

Yeah our theme is also vintage hence why i wanted the suits.

Ahh well nevermind, we'll see how we go when they try on their suits. Hopefully he will change his mind once he has it on!
