Kate, that sounds pretty much exactly what I had, except I had the pot stuffed with coconut fibre! See pic below so you can see what it will look like. I got mine for $28 each from the Sydney Flower Markets. Not sure if you are in Sydney, but if so PM me if you like and I can give you the contact details of a guy at the flower markets who sells them and you can make a bulk order. I told him they were for centrepieces and he chose out and put aside really nice ones for me.

And in this pic you can see a pink one in the background. I asked for different coloured ones, however, I could have had all white ones also.

Wow! Great pics girls! Allure & Foxglove, can you both PM me the details of the Flower Market, and the details of the guy at the Sydney Market?!

Will send you a personal message nonetheless!

Wow Foxglove and Allure,

your photos are just stunning. I am debating between those orchids and magnolias at the moment - thanks for the extra incentive with the photos they are so beautiful!

Stunning! Stunning! Stunning! Yes please pm me details biggrin.gif

I absolutely love your table settings. Do you have two stems woven together or is it a single plant. I love the coconut fibre effect - was that difficult to source?

I'm loving your entire look. I didn't think I was into table scatters but your whole finish looks brilliant. Are they small stones scattered? Also can you recommend where to find the pots?

Sorry for the babble...I'm just super excited. Your look is exactly what I'm hoping to achieve biggrin.gif

p.s in my excitement over seeing your photos I missed the part about you being in Sydney sad.gif Oh well I hope you don't mind me using your pics for inspiration for my own wedding and I'd still love to know about the stuffing and pots smile.gif

Great thank you! I like the idea of DIY. I was quoted $40 - $50 per pot by my florist so I will definitely go wholesale using a friend's contacts.

Sorry, just saw this post! As chelley said, the coconot fibre is from Bunnings, and I also got the pots from Bunnings. They were about $6.50 each. It worked really well as the plastic pot that the plant came in fit perfectly into the ceramic pot, and the coconut fibre covered it up! (I didn't really want to repot them as they may not have liked it). So each centrepiece, with the plant, ceramic pot and coconut fibre cost about $35 (as said above the plants were $28 each from Sydney Flower Markets). Where are you located, is there any flower markets near you?

And yes, it's just small black stones around the pot, also from Bunnings! I got the reception centre to set them up and I would have actually liked a few more pebbles strewn about, some of the tables were a bit lacking, but oh well!

I'm glad I could be of some help! And I'm glad you like them!
