We are always stuck for things to do on friday and saturday evenings. We are saving as well and dont have a lot of money to spend on going out so these are some of the things we do...

* Organise a 'scab party' everyone brings a bag of stuff they no longer want (clothes, kitchen stuff, shoes etc). Clear a big space in the lounge room and dump all the stuff in the middle. Get hold of some quiz night questions and take turns asking each other questions, when you get a question right, you get to pick from the pile! or... you could ditch the quiz questions and have a free for all grab-fest!

* Have a clear skin wine night - everyone brings a few bottles of clear skin wine (you can pick them up some places for about $4 a bottle and most of its pretty nice!) and a plate of food and have a cheap dinner party and get drunk!

* Go out and see some local bands - most of the time entry is only $5 for 4 or 5 bands and if you do your research you can find student/backpacker nights during the week where there is drink specials AND sometimes.... FREE FOOD.

*Organise a girls slumber party, someone brings tarot cards, a few girly movies, nail polish, make some junky food like wedges and chocky crackles ( or rude biscuits!) and pig out!

well, thats my 2c!
