huh.gif Ok, had first make up trial for xmas party.. When she finished I felt like a million dollars so took a couple of photo's with my phone.. Checked out my phone and thought.. Hmm looks a little funny so close up so tried other ways. Have only just uploaded now to the computer and I don't think I really like it at all. It just doesn't look like me..

Here's the first off the rank photos - one two three

sad.gif It just didn't make my night tonight.. Believe me.. Made me realise I really need to get my front tooth done too..

Here's another photo at the xmas party later that night.. Not too bad..

She emailed me two wks later to see if I was ready to pay a deposit and I said no as my BM had brought me a complimentary make over as a section option. I said as a professional I'm sure you would understand. I haven't heard from her.!!!

I'm confused.. And now on the lookout for another make up artist..
HELP!!! sad.gif

You don't think its too heavy..? Even though I used to be a marching girl and would wear a tonne of make up this just felt different to me..

Oh well, maybe its because its been a while..!

But thanks for the compliments.! It makes me feel a little better.!! rolleyes.gif

I think it looks lovely.

When I had my first trial, I thought it looked a bit too full on, but in the wedding pics, it looks great.

Once you're all tizzed up, you'll realise that it's the right amount IYKWIM.

I think it looks great! Make-up always looks heavy when you just consentrate on your face, but once you put the dress, and the veil etc on, it will tone in with everything.

Sweetie i think you look fab!!

I would not be worrying if my make up turned out like that! In all honesty, i love it. Like the girls said, once you have the whole outfit on, it will blend in beautifully. Are you in Sydney btw? I need a make-up artist!! smile.gif

You have stunning eyes!

no i think its really lovely, very jackie o.. perhaps your worried about the "darkness" of the top lid colour? Maybe ask her to add a lighter shimmer to the very top of the colour to soften it alittle more?

lip colour is fab, what is it??

I think all brides go through this. My MOH got married the other day and while she was having her makeup done she kept asking me to tell her if I thought it was too much, too heavy, too dark.

I said the same things I'm about to say to you..................
It's perfect, its natural and what you have to remember is it needs to be this way for the photos otherwise you will look shiny and dead. laugh.gif

I honestly think your makeup looks gorgeous and I would be ringing that lady back up and book her!!!!!! smile.gif

I think it looks gorgeous. You do have really nice eyes and she has done them beautifully. When you look at the photo of when you were at the Xmas party you are all dressed up and it looks fab! I think your makeup artist has done a beautiful job.
