... that I'm loving the feeling of comaraderie (sp?) in here this morning!

Everyone working out how the forums work together, and helping each other out.
I'm loving it! biggrin.gif

Yeah, I agree. It does feel very, very new. Kind of like the first day of school. And I seem to be replying a heap just to get in the practice. I'm already feeling much more confident working my way around here.

Lots more to learn though. tongue.gif

P.S Must say though .... I lurrrrvveee the icons!!! smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif

Yeah, it's a good feeling alright - about time too biggrin.gif

speaking of helping people work out the quirks etc, if you look under the poster's name, you see little blue squares. Some have one square with Newbie and some have 2 with Member. Does anybody know the criteria for changing status - I'm hardly a Newbie to the whole shabang (obviously I am to the new forum) and I thought that once registered we were all Members? At the moment I'm thinking it goes on the amount of posts. Any ideas?

Yuppers, it's based on post numbers. It'll be a pre-set thing that automatically jumps up when you hit a specified number of posts.

From what I see I think people show Newbie for 24hrs or for the first day and one's with Members are people who registered yesterday.

I could be wrong, but that's how I'm seeing it.

Hang on Emma ... I'm completely wrong!!!! Just looked and now I'm showing Member.

Maybe it's got something to do with the amount of posts you post.

Hi Guys...

It's based on the number of posts... any suggestions as to the ranking we can use please PM me.

By the way, if you haven't tried it out, the new PM function is like personal email in here, you get an inbox, sent items etc etc...

Yep the forums, to me, definately feel snug today. My guess is the less timeouts, the easy way to reply, finding posts easy (maybe because they are limited at the moment) pesonal little images the place generally feels nice and fresh is causing a unity!

Gorgeous! smile.gif

I totally agree!!! I'm loving the vibe in here! I must admit i wasn't sold when i first came in (I'm a person that doesn't cope well with change so it's nothing unusual) but i'm slowly beginning to like it more and more. Plus i just luuurrrvvee being able to use the emoticons! tongue.gif

Just taking me awhile to get through it all rolleyes.gif
