We had a honeymoon which lasted one week, hubby had to go back to work afterwards. I had another week at home then to just get organised with all the post-wedding stuff. Of course, would be fantastic if we had more time!! tongue.gif tongue.gif

We're going to the Gold Coast for 7 nights, coming home for 2 nights and then staying in a hotel on Valentines Day.

As I am a contractor, when I am not at work I am not paid. So the week before the wedding week of the honeymoon is sufficient time off to add a couple of grand to the wedding expenses. Our week on a island resort will be plentiful. And we are planning a holiday late next year.

Our honeymoon is 2 weeks. Altogether we're taking almost 4 weeks off (incuding before the wedding and settling in once we get back).

H2B has 4 weeks annual leave accrued already so that's fine. I'm just starting a new job so will have to take unpaid leave, but we've budgeted with that in mind so it's ok smile.gif

Sadly only 10 days unless I apply for and get unpaid leave.

Reason being 3 months before our wedding we're taking a 4 week holiday to Italy and Malta and coupled with a week off before our wedding it will exhaust my annual leave quota.

However a week lazing in Vietnam will be fabulous biggrin.gif

We're going on our honeymoon for 12 nights. I'm having nearly 3.5 weeks off work which is sooooooo great. My work are really good with weddings and stuff so I'm really lucky. I had all the leave owing to me anyway smile.gif

I loved voting for this pole because I could pick the more than 35 days one and that got me excited all over again biggrin.gif biggrin.gif We are going away for 6 weeks and I have ten weeks off work in total. I can't wait and I soooo need it. Reason I can take so much time is that I've been trying to store up my leave, so will have about 5 or 6 weeks owing to me, plus I have just clocked up my long service leave entitlement! I knew there had to be some reason I've stayed with the same employer so long laugh.gif

Only 8 more weeks of work left biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Ours will be 1 weeks approx. When we do things, we go all out so we couldn't really afford a longer holiday. Plus we're also looking to buy a house 12 months after our wedding. After the wedding, we still want to have 10k in the bank so we can start the fun process of saving again.

We had 11 days. Went to Cook Islands. Was great! I don't get paid leave etc, as a mother/student, lol, so I guess the upside is I don't have to ask anyone if I can take leave at that time! I just had to try to deal with leaving my son with my mother for that long! But he loved it of course, and my mum was happy to have him! I missed him a lot, but it worked out well, and good fun was had by all!

I took 6 weeks off work

3 weeks before the wedding ( thank goodness with all the complications I had)

for 5 days of it i went to a health spa at the beginning with my bms that was heavenly I was very spoilt to be able to do that!

our honeymoon was 20 days in queensland in 5 star accom lush!

then a day at home then back to work

going to our usual holiday place which is budget but very relaxing in 3 weeks time for 2 weeks

SOOOOOO looking forward to that

after the honeymoon it is hard to go back to reality so that has kept us really UP

One or maybe two weeks for the honeymoon. I have got leave for 12 days - the thursday/friday before the wedding and two days after that. I have enough annual leave accrued to take more - but I would really have had to push to take 4 weeks in a row.
