You lucky things, Siew and Nikki!!

We had a short honeymoon, but it was all the budget would allow - 4 nights on the Gold Coast. It was great nonetheless, and nice to spend some time with my husband after not living with him since the Feb before sad.gif

We said we're going to try and take a holiday or at least a weekend away every 6 months if we can afford it though, and one day my boy's going to take me around Australia.. So I can't complain. smile.gif

Our Honeymoon is for 2 weeks - but with everything else we are taking 4 weeks off work.

Since I hardly ever take holidays I have over 40 days leave accrued - so I think long deserved break!!!

We'll be in South East Asia for 4 week,s but I'm having 7 weeks off. YAY!! I can't wait. How did I manage to get that much time off? Gave them heaps of notice - I've been working for them for 4 years and it would not have gone down well if they'd said no......

Due to H2B's work committments in September, our honeymoon will only be for 1 week. We are, however, planning an overseas trip to the Uk/Europe either this Christmas or sometime next year.

We are having a 7 night honeymoon at Brampton Island. We will have the week before the wedding and a week after as we have guests coming from UK to attend so we wanted to spend time with them.

We are overseas for 15 nights and I have taken 3 weeks and 2 days off work, which gives me a few days before the wedding to finalise things aswell as a few days when we get back to recover.

our honeymoon is for 11 nights! we're having exactly 1 month off for the wedding though, 1 week before, 3 weeks after.
that takes up our annual leave, H2B has arranged for Self Funded Leave (kinda like leave without pay) and I'm hoping to do similar if my job here gets extended (atm I'm gonna be unemployed in February but am pretty sure I'll continue on!)

we wanted a week after the honeymoon to set up our new place biggrin.gif (we arent living together, will move in somewhere new to both fo us!)

We are having a week off before the wedding and then we are having a 5 week honeymoon.

We are flying direct into Johannesburg. Doing an 8 – 10 day safari through Africa.
We are then flying from Johannesburg to Paris. We will be staying there for 3-4 days.
We are then flying from Paris to New York. We will be in the states for the rest of the time going to LA etc

I so can’t wait – I have never had this much time off from work ever and I have never been O/S – its truly going to be an amazing time!!

with the renos happening before the wedding im not sure if one of us will need to be around the house for tradies. Depends on the progress.
The plan is to have Friday before off, just to relax and have a sleeping day, i know i wont sleep the night before! then as much as work will allow me to have off, i will, i am hoping for 5 weeks. Our honeymoon is the wednesday after the wedding and we come back the wednesday after that. if we feel like having another break h2b said we will go down to Kiama for a little while
