We are still undecided on our honeymoon destination. We're considering either Hawaii, or Fiji, though our trip will be under a fortnight, as we won't be taking our children, and couldn't bear to leave them for that long.

OH Amanda, you gotta go to Hawaii then, since you told me you've never been O/S .. Fiji is nice but think of the possibilities with Hawaii.. ahhh that's another place to add to my huge list of places to see before I die wink.gif

Actually Empress, we are leaning more towards Hawaii now. Our own i-do Travel Agent Lauren is onto it for me tongue.gif

I would have put the Pacific on there as a category, probably more popular than South America!

We are going to the Cooks! Two weeks, four days in Raro, ten in Aitutaki

Everyone's trips sound so amazing.

We are getting married in the UK, then going to Paris and the Dordogne for two weeks then Italy to the Amalfi coast for a week. Ahhhhhhh French cheese, calvados and Italian fresh tomatoes. I cannot wait!

EGYPT-JORDAN
We are flying to London, then connecting to Cairo. We'll be spending 2 weeks in Egypt & Jordan doing a few tours (as it appears to be safer) and spending some resort time by the Red Sea.

WESTERN EUROPE
We'll then fly Cairo to Rome and spend another 2-3 weeks travelling by train through Italy, Switzerland (to visit a friend) and France. Probably - Rome -Florence -Venice -Milan -Zurich -Paris, or something similar. Really we'll just relax and go with the flow on this leg.

UK/IRELAND
We'll then fly/ferry Paris to Dublin and hire a car/campervan for 2 weeks doing a clockwise trip around the island. We'll visit my family (providing they can't make it to the wedding in Oz) in Ireland. My parents will be joining us for this leg of the honeymoon, which I'm actually really excited about - seriously I am tongue.gif
We'll then ferry Belfast to Scotland and spend the remaining 2 weeks travelling around Scotland/UK, before heading back to London (for a few days to catch up with firends) and then home.

I CAN'T WAIT!!!! I have lived in Ireland and travelled most of Europe but am SO looking forward to seeing it all again with my H2B - he has never set foot outside of Oz! Will be a huge trip for him and I'm so excited for his sake (as well as my own of course) biggrin.gif
It is a pretty jam packed schedule to do in 8 weeks, but we both want to make the most of the trip and we'll have some kick-back resort time in Egypt. I only wish it were longer and we could afford it/get time off work to do 3-6 months. Still I can't wait smile.gif

At the moment we are looking at going to SOuth America for a postponed honeymoon. Getting married on July 7th Next year but thinking of waiting until February so I can take H2B to Brazil for Carnival. I spent a year there when I was 17/18 as an exchange student and met my H2B one month after I got back. I have not been back there since and he first noticed me because I was speaking about Brazil and he is a soccer nut!! Can't wait to show him off to my "families" over there, one family has actually said they will come over for my wedding which is WAY cool. Have a while to plan for Feb 2008.
