I voted other as we are going to Tasmania for 10 days.
We are going to drive around and look at some popular (such a Cradle Mountain)and some not so well known places and stay at lots of B&B's. My fiance has it all worked out (he used to live in Tassie).

I'm so excited but I have to wait another 14 months till we go.

I'm sure I'll have plenty to keep my mind off it, with wedding planning and all.

Sigh. We're still deciding...

I would like southern Italy and France, but HTB is worried it will be too cold (end of November wedding). Given he wants a honeymoon baby, I didn't think this would be such a bad thing IFKWIM wink.gif

He's suggested USA instead, but that's just really not my thing.

Another idea is to do a week locally at somewhere like the Yarra Valley or Daylesford and then do Europe the following july (in their summer).

Am open to suggestions on where is nice late November/early December. I teach at uni, so I am really restricted to December for a long honeymoon or June for a short honeymoon.

As we had to fly 24 hours for our wedding, we decided to stay within Australia for our honeymoon. We went to Hayman Island. if we lived in Australia and got married in Australia, we would have gone to the Cook Islands for our honeymoon.

We arent having one sad.gif

We cant afford one, the inlaws are already catering and organised the reception, the wedding cake and bridal flowers.
Thats the only reason we can afford to get married blink.gif

We will probably have our honeymmon on our first wedding anniversary, besides its not all about what you do, we see it as finally becoming husband and wife wub.gif

We are getting married on Hamilton Island and are therefore staying in their Beach Club (5 star) for 5 nights. Hopefully, the plan is an additional two nights at Airlie Beach and then a slow and steady drive down to the Gold Coast. We will stop where and when we feel like it and see some more of Oz.

Will have to see what the $$$ are like closer to the date though!

We cant wait!!!
