I'd go the blushing bride myself too; actually I nearly had it until I decided definitely on the magnolias, then Sue & I agreed they would clash and *sigh* I had to let the bb go smile.gif

I am having white phaelenopsis Orchids, the girls will have the white ones with pink in the middle.

I am having these as wrist corsages - including one for me.

I have seen bouquets recently with all sorts of foliage including fruit, berries, wood, feathers, straw, wheat, seeds (strung on wire) and chillies. What is the theme of your wedding? Can you place an emphasis on your surrounds at the ceremony or venue?

I love love love that Blushing Bride bouquet, I would want it to look exactly like that. Could it be done in silk?

I just googled Australian orchids and you know I had no idea that orchids could be much more than just the typical bridal ones you see. I love this stunning one:

I guess it would be a matter of which one would be easier to get my hands on. :-)

I read a story in a mag once of a lady (second wedding) who had a funky coloured dress and decided to match her bouquet by having one made entirely out of Liquorice Allsorts! Now that's different!

Bee2xb and Mich,

I had roses and berries for my bouquets (bride & bridesmaids). I loved them sooooo much and definately dont change your mind if thats what you like. I stuck with them through the 9 months of wedding planning and glad i did as they were one of my favourite things of the day!

I also carried the theme to our centrepieces and cake topper.
