No - he has seen me distraught before over dodgy hair colours so I don't think he cares as long as I don't come home in tears! Last time it cost $215 ph34r.gif (but worth every cent!)

Hubby didn't complain about the cost of my hair cut yesterday... it was only $20!! I think because I got such a great cut for such a great price I should be allowed to get it coloured now too biggrin.gif

Oh, and hubby even noticed my haircut!! Normally he doesn't say anything but yesterday the first thing he said to me when he got home from work was "Your hair looks very nice" wub.gif

P.S. I wonder if the only reason he noticed is because I asked if I could get a haircut? Would've been egg on his face if I decided not to get it done and he commented biggrin.gif

hahhaha brett you are the biggest champ!! tongue.gif

my mum likes expensive things, she thinks paying $355 for a cut, colour and blow dry is acceptable (her hair is just at the chin) ohmy.gif

so ive been brought up to think thats okay... i dont really think it is tho...

i had my hair all nicely coloured when i met anton...(im half asian so i have jet black hair and its a bugger to get a good colour without having copper or brassy hair, a good hairdresser makes it look spick!)... several different colours of brown through to blonde ohmy.gif (cost $200)..

but since then ive dyed my hair back to black/dark dark dark brown... i decided to cheat by getting blonde chunks put under the first layer of hair so you wouldnt see re-growth.. ive had that done twice..

so in 2 years ive had my hair coloured three times.....

in inspiration of this thread i said to H2B....

"let me know if my logic is out of wack, but because u go out and buy your computer bits and car bits all the time... and ive had my hair done 3 times in the last 2 years... Dont you think its okay to get my hair fully coloured before christmas?"

he said: "of course, you dont have to ask me!"

I said: "yes i do.........................................if your paying for it!!" laugh.gif

he rudely said yes.........................why rudely... well he asked for reimbursement in the bedroom tongue.gif :lub:

HAHAHA, so i guess im getting my hair done, i think ive just devised a new form of currency!! tongue.gif
You can travel the world, But you can't run away,
From the person you are in your heart,
You can be who you want to be, Make us believe in you,
Keep all your light in the dark,
If you're searching for truth, You must look in the mirror,
And make sense of what you can see,
Just be.... Just Be..

Face up to the fact: That you are who you are
and nothing can change that belief...
Just be... Just Be.

I tell my H2B what I spend because we have this understanding that we dont want to hide that kind of thing behind each others backs

It's funny for me; I used to be a real spendthrift, but in this relationship I think I'm going to have to keep the reins in! Ben doesn't seem to think that anything above $100 for a good style cut is too much as he's used to his mum and sister paying above that tongue.gif Meanwhile, I get mine washed style cut and blow dried for $22.

I dont lie about hair cuts because we both go to one of those cheap & quick places, costs $20 no matter what, so we pay the same.

But as for everything else....... I recently started and finished our Christmas shopping. And on the first day I was going I asked hubby to give me the money for the presents I had to buy & he gave me $300, (let me add I needed to buy for 6 children and 25 Adults), luckly I know where he keeps his money & I know he never counts it, so once I spent that $300 (which didnt go far, let me tell you)
I kept going back to the stash and taking more money until I had bought the last present.

Same goes with the grocery money, he gives me $100 and anything over that I just go & take. He very rarely see any reciepts and thinks that I am the best value shopper cause I only spend what he gives me.... HA biggrin.gif

hehe nope, but then H2B's new hairdresser charges him over $30 for a wash and cut, and he totaly understands the difference a good hairdresser makes to the cut now!!
I usually only spend around $100 on a colour and cut anyway (benefits of living in a non-metro city!)
