Steve and I both discussed what we wanted engraved on our rings before the wedding.

I really like latin so I wanted a latin phrase. I found a few different ones I liked and showed them to Steve and then we decided together what to have.

We've got.....nulli secundus 2-7-04 engraved on the inside of each band. Nulli secundus means 'second to none'. I love it. tongue.gif

How wide is your band?  Mine's only 2.5mm...

Have you seen my engagement ring? That is 2mm wide... I think my wedding ring is gonna be half the width smile.gif

I got Mark's ring engraved as a surprise, and I had intended on doing a Possum trick and letting him discover it in his own time.

But when I picked it up from the engravers, I noticed that he had another ring on his counter that was in the same box ... I fretted for days about getting the wrong ring back, so I eventually showed it to Mark so that he could try it on to make sure it was 'his' ring.

He plans to get mine engraved, but we're so slack, it hasn't been done yet.

Mark's ring says M & K 08-06-03 ... until the end of time

I'm all for doing what Poss said! Let him find it himself. laugh.gif
In getting the ring engraved, you'll be surprised at how often men actually take their rings off and fiddle with them. It wouldn't take long for him to find it!! I got my engagement ring engraved with the date of our enagement (21~04~03) and I'll have my wedding ring engraved with "Robb 28~08~04" his will read "Candy 28~08~04". Even if you never take it off after you read it, you know it's there and it's just another little thing which makes it extremely personal!

Well that's my opinion anyway. smile.gif
