Okay it's not much but last night I got Mick to sit down and go through the wedding brouchers I'd collected for venues in Canberra and we narrowed it down to about 8 places (including one here in Bateman's Bay) that we like the sound off. Now we just have to figure out when we can get to Canberra to look at them and make a decision. Once we've booked the reception place I'll find a ceremony site and start thinking about my dress.

I've also started my ideas folder, I've got lot's of ideas for the table decorations, my dress etc.

I'm all excited again after weeks of being a bit stalled.
Married 8th October 2005! I will love you today, tomorow, always!

Sounds like things are progressing really well.

I had an "ideas" folder too, which was filled with plastic pockets full of cut outs & brochures on dresses, suits, cakes, flowers, etc! I loved looking through it & adding things as the planning progressed.

It was also great as I kept all of our contracts/reciepts from suppliers and everything there too, so they were all in one handy place.

Sounds like you are on the start to great things Jane. I found it was better doing little things along the way. You will be there before you know it

Yay good to hear that you're excited again and that you've narrowed it all down. Thats the hardest bit. Its so good to keep everything you see cos you might always want it later!
Its all so exciting!!!

I know exactly how you feel. I am in the process of organising my wedding and when I was through the stage of organising the venue it was hard. However Rhys and I found a venue we fell in love with. Yet when we went to see it - o my gosh - what a dissapointment. It was just by coincidence that on the way we came across another venue that was perfect and we booked it. We originally didn't get the day we wanted - so we changed it and are very happy now! Good Luck and all the Best!

Hello my wedding twin.

This is strange I was just thinking of you. I was going to email you and ask how you were doing. If you have the reception in canberra where will the ceremony be?
Sorry for any typos, I have a dislocated shoulder nerve.

Have you started to bounce yet?? Wont be long. laugh.gif

It's great once you've decided where you're location will be. You can really start to get down to details then.

Good work!
