QUOTE (countrybride2b @ Nov 3 2005, 01:09 PM)
eg a new body moisturiser despite still have three half used ones at home!

i do this all the time!..i have some kind of compulsion when it comes to chemists, makeup counters and supermarket personal aisles! i have so many bottles of stuff at home it itsn't funny! blink.gif

although i have to say the johnson&johnson h@liday sk!n was a worthwhile waste - i love the stuff! laugh.gif

My Love Reveals Objects

my love reveals objects
silken butterflies
concealed in his fingers

his words splash me with stars

night shines like lightning
under the fingers of my love

my love invents worlds where
jeweled glittering serpents live

worlds where music is the world

worlds where houses with open eyes
contemplate the dawn

my love is a mad sunflower that forgets
fragments of sun in the silence

At the moment I'm trying to fight a serious magazine addiction laugh.gif I waste so much money on them. I'm trying to make a conscious effort to save more.

i can totally sympathise. I personally think it is an addiction, just like with alcohol/smoking etc.

I will have the urge to go shopping and i wont come home until ive bought something. doesnt matter what it is a long as ive bought something. Starnge but true - and possibly sad ph34r.gif

DEFINATELY!!! I went into the N@poleon Store yesterday, got suckered into buying 5 products....$250 later!!!!! Which I took out of the wedding fund (and told myself i'd replace it) NAUGHTY NAUGHTY!! Shouldnt have done it, totally freaked out after I bought it, thought I was gonna have a panic attack. As it turns out I had an allergic reaction to the stuff, took it back to get my money back , had to have a doc cert saying that i was allergic and they're sending it away to the main centre to be 'assessed' before I get told whethe I get my money back or not.. which takes 2 weeks... I really shouldn't buy on impulse!!!

I can totally relate - At the moment I have an addiction to buying TV Series Seasons on DVD - I brought the Gilmore Girls, and Season 2 & 3 or Home Improvement for hubby a couple of weeks ago and now I want all the other seasons available for the Gilmore Girls - Since we are buying a house in the next few months I shouldn't be wasting our money on these things but I just can't help it ph34r.gif

When we were saving for the wedding I was so addicted to wedding magazines - I kept taking the money out of the wedding fund to buy them and than stressing about it and than reasoning with my self "well it is wedding related so it is ok to take the money out of the wedding fund for them"
