Hi girls

My sister just bought me the Johnsons Holiday Skin as I've been wondering about it for ages. I've only used it once and I do think I look a little more tanned. It smells like fake tan on my skin although it didn't really in the bottle. Has anyone else used this for a while? I'd love to know what the end result is as I think I might keep using it until my wedding.

Oops also wanted to add that I've been told they are bringing out a facial version too. Anyone seen this??

I haven't used this myself, but a friend of mine recommended it to me. She has a friend who has been using it, and apparently she ended up a shade darker and it evened out her skin tone. I am thinking of using this too, as I am not too sure about getting a fake spray tan and I don't want to use a solarium.

Hi there!

I have been using this - seems ok - am definitely a bit darker (H2B even commented!?!?!)

I have freckly skin, so if I go onto a sunbed I just turn into one giant freckle, and I am a bit wary about spray on with a white dress..... BM has said that is NOT a good idea!?!?.................. can't think why???? LOL!!!

So, holiday skin for me I am afraid!! :-)

I just bought it from the supermarket yesterday.
I'm impressed that it doesn't smell like fake tanning stuff, but will have to see how it goes over the next few days.

Hi I have been using it for a while and it does make a difference. It isnt as streaky as normal fake tanning creams. And it does build up over time. The face one is pretty good too although does smell a bit but it does wear off. I live in the UK so I have to use this stuff as I hate being so pale as there is no much sun in the north of England!! I would recommend it.

sorry to sound dumb but what is it and how does this work .... ? I am not over comfortable with spray tans and really don't want to use a solarium either an dmum doesn't live with us so I can't rely on her expertise for application of fake tans....

Can you shave your legs without taking off the colour ?? huh.gif

Ive been using it for almost a week now and its great, i am the most unbelievably white person so any sort of colour is great, i have previously tried different fake tans but they usually turn out all orange or blotchy which is never a good look.
I think this one works so well because its mixed with a moisturiser so it is diluted down so it takes a few days to come to a full colour and by applying it daily it doesnt end up blotchy.

Shaving your legs has no detrimental effect to the tan, i shave my legs daily (damn thick dark hair) and it still looks good. smile.gif

This stuff is fantastic. I have been using it for over a week. I am very fair and freckley and have tried fake tanners for years. This one is subtle so there isn't as much pressure in getting it perfect in the application.

It is a really natural colour too and doesn't make my hands orange.

Good luck finding it though. I had to hunt it down. I tried 7 shops before I found it. It seems to be taking the world by storm!

I have been using it for about 1 month now it is great, i stopped using it for about 1 week though because i had it stuck in between my fingers which gave me the horrible mark, but i am definately a couple of shades darker and it smells great!@

Ive seen this, and was wondering if it was worth buying.

Think I might have to give it a go! Its so much cheaper than all the other products!

I have searched in numberous priceline, kmarts, coles, targets, chemists etc to find it but it seems to be sold out everywhere. One shop assistant said that JOhnsons is having trouble keeping up with the demand because its been so popular. She said she had also been abused by a few people because they didnt have any stock! (a wee bit extreme)

I did however track down 1 bottle of the face moisturising holiday skin which is different to the body lotion tanner.

My lovely little sis up in Nth Qld bought me a bottle of the body lotion up there and has express posted it down to me to try!
