this isn't a dream!! i don't think i was dreaming!! could it be the after effects of anaesthia?? (I had an op last monday!)

this morning i wasn't dreaming anything in particular when (must have been a slight breeze) knocked an item over in our bedroom and i awoke thinking(for whatever reason it may be a ghost...) and saw P lying next to me and freaked out!!

this has never happened before later he asked me why i freaked out at him?? i seemed scared? why?? we have been living together for YEARS!! why? oh why?

has this happened to anyone else??

Could have still be half dreaming, I've sat bolt upright in bed before terrified over nothing whatsoever! I figure I was still half asleep smile.gif

I am occasionally seriously disoriented when I wake up suddenly, like thinking I am in my room in Melbourne when I haven't slept in it for two years, and waking up and not being able to see the door where it usually is.

It could be that you were actually dreaming of much earlier part of your life when there wasn't a P in the bed next to you, and therefore wasn't prepared for it.

sometimes that happens to me too. But the worst bit is when you go to sleep with one person and then wake up suddendly and it's another person lying next to you.... it really freaks me out!
