QUOTE (bluebird @ Feb 16 2004, 12:26 AM)
I did see one on a bride on the weekend and she had a back like mine on her gown (one you really don't want covered with all that tulle).

I confussed now... didn't you say *points up* that you didn't want to cover up the detail on the back of your dress... whouldn't a train legth one do this....

also you don't *have* to wear one at the reception... I've known a lot of brides get 'frustrated' with anylegth of veil (the weight and pluss the stuff that keeps it pinned in) and they take it out by the time they get to the reception.. so dont think you *have* to have one for the reception if you don't want to.. but if you do.. well.. ya can biggrin.gif

*do I make any sense* laugh.gif

I was one of those frustrated brides - no veil for me for the reception!

Besides, i wanted to show off my hairstyle.

I really want to wear some sort of veil for the whole day. I never really dreamed about my wedding when I was little but there were (and still are) a few things that were 110% musts for my wedding

I wear a veil
If I can wear a long veil in the church then do it (if I only have the one layer you should still see my back, if not they can all look at the reception)
that my dress is white
that my grandfather gives me away
that I have a dress that is unusual so people remember it afterwards
that I have GREAT pics to remember it all

I have the last 4 ticked

Sorry for any typos, I have a dislocated shoulder nerve.
