I think thats it. My FH and I are both shopaholics. It's bad when theres two of us that like to shop.

As of today I am debt free!!!! But as of yesterday I had 3, with $6000 total limit, and owing about $5999.99.

I now only have 1 with a much smaller limit and so I am promising myself never to get into trouble with them again.

Currently my VISA is on ice in the freezer.

I have 3, a mastercard, a coles myer source card and an american express which is a work card that if i ever leave here will be cancelled. OH has a visa card but its a UK card and once our home loan is issued we will be given an australian visa and will transfer the balance. we only use them for tickets and airfares and the occasional hotel or car hire..... i used to have major CC debt and it stressed me out!! the shopping part was fun but the bills killed me!!

We have one VISA between the two of us.

There is -5.00 on it!! biggrin.gif

If we want something, we wait until my fiance gets paid or if its a big item, we layby and pay it off each week with my pay

smile.gif It's a good feeling not owing anything on your credit card!!
If we spend anything on it, it gets paid the following pay day

We don't have any - we both have a Visa debit card for credit card transactions.

I just think that if we dont have the money for it then we cant afford it and we are better off.

This way its easier to stay out of debt!!

I have two credit cars:
- one for my own spending;
- joint one with H2B for joint spending (i.e. living expenses etc.)

I pay them off each month, so I'm never paying interest.

Reasons for using cc:
- convenience
- allows me to keep all money against home loan and draw back on it only once a month to pay off cc (effectively, reduces loan for a while)
- we have a gold Visa cc that gives us freq flyer points as a reward and also, free travel insurance when booking airfares and accomm using the cc (the annual charge for the gold Visa is much less than the travel insurance we would pay in a year)

All cash here...If I need to use a credit card I will use my mums (they have 1) but I always give her the cash on the same day I use her card... We buy stuff off ebay from the states with her card mainly..!!
