We like our reward points. Free holidays and lots of stuff from fly buys.

I now only have 1 with a much smaller limit and so I am promising myself never to get into trouble with them again.
Currently my VISA is on ice in the freezer.

There is -5.00 on it!!
If we want something, we wait until my fiance gets paid or if its a big item, we layby and pay it off each week with my pay
It's a good feeling not owing anything on your credit card!!
If we spend anything on it, it gets paid the following pay day

I just think that if we dont have the money for it then we cant afford it and we are better off.
This way its easier to stay out of debt!!

- one for my own spending;
- joint one with H2B for joint spending (i.e. living expenses etc.)
I pay them off each month, so I'm never paying interest.
Reasons for using cc:
- allows me to keep all money against home loan and draw back on it only once a month to pay off cc (effectively, reduces loan for a while)
- we have a gold Visa cc that gives us freq flyer points as a reward and also, free travel insurance when booking airfares and accomm using the cc (the annual charge for the gold Visa is much less than the travel insurance we would pay in a year)
