I had a dream last night that i was pregnant and gave birth to a girl (yep - i dreamt the actual birth and pain associated with it). H2B insisted on calling the baby Annabella and wouldn't let me give her a middle name. I was so angry about it that i had a go at him as i woke up...he had no idea about what i was going on about and thinks i'm a complete fruitcake!

I've also had a dream that we saw a friend off at the airport but a few days later when H2B suggested that we go and visit him I still thought he was overseas!

Has anyone else had something like this happen? Or am I the only strange one ph34r.gif

Nope you are not alone.. I had a dream that I was fighting with my mum because she abused me.... when I woke up I actually thought it was real... she rang that night and I abused her and then realised it was a dream...

I can't remember having a dream that I thought was real, but I often carry my moods and emotions from my dreams to my awake state. I remember one dream where Milo had cheated on me, and when I woke up I was so damn mad at him, and stayed mad all day. Even though I knew it was totally irrational.

i have done that exact thing too!

poor cam! he never really knows what to do with it.

the other night i had a dream, much like kristy's, where i had a baby (and i even remember the pain of 'tearing' during birth! i've never had children! tribal memory?), but i went back to work the day after the birth, and the baby died because no-one was looking after it. i was so so upset when i woke up.

amazing how those dream time emotions can affect you for hours afterwards...

I often still feel the emotions from my dream (like CeeBee said, being mad at someone all day, even tho you know they only hurt u in a dream) but hardly ever thinking something really happened. I know, once or twice, I've moved something in a dream, like packed a cd into a bag, and when I'm awake and go to look for it..... i go straight to the bag and of course, it's not there! lol.

And once, i dreamt i was smoking a cigarette and it was so darn real, when i woke up i felt like i could still smell it and all day i wanted a cigarette (im not a smoker!!)

I had a dream that my h2b was a demon and was telling me to get out of bed and go into the forest. We were staying in a cabin in the middle of a forest so if I did do that I would have been majorly lost and very very cold.

I had gotten out and was on my way and Mark had to grab me and convince me that it was really him. I was still convinced it could be the "demon" Mark for ages. He didn't sleep much that night laugh.gif

I generally feel the emotions and feelings of the dreams I have for ages. I will get pretty mopey or narky over a dream for a while. Just cauze the dreams didn't actually happen doesn't mean it cant stir up feelings that are hard to shake. If I dream any family member has died I cant concentrate all day until I call them.

I woke up the next morning and even though "I new it was a dream" I said to him, don't talk to me. I am so angry right now and I just can't talk to you!

He was shocked the poor baby laugh.gif

I do this often (damn those AD's!), but nothing so dramatic!
I've been convinced that there were muffins in the fridge and annoyed when there weren't, Dylan had to tell me that there never were any muffins!
I've also started to tell D about something I've read, and halfway through I just think hang on, I think I dreamt this!

I once had a dream where I stole a friend's boyfriend, and even though when I woke up, I knew I hadn't really, I wanted to apologise to her for it for weeks afterwards!

I haven't actually thought that something in a dream was real, but have had the emotions from dreams carry on for ages. I have had several baby dreams, although none of them involving the birthing itself! Each time I woke up with this awful sense of loss (am I clucky after all??)

My best friend Alasdair was around a few months ago and asked if he could have some toast, or was our toaster still broken. I looked at him strangely and said that it never was, and he could have sworn that it had been broken for months!!! Strange boy to be dreaming about our toaster!

One time I had a dream where he died, and it was the most awful thing ever, and I went around with this haze of kind-of-grief for days afterwards!
