All guests write the name of a famous bride (either real or fictitous) on a small piece of paper and puts it in a hat. Everyone then picks one, and without looking at the name they put it on their forhead. Everyone gets to ask questions that the other guests can only answer with "yes/no" answers. The winner is the person who guesses first

Everyone sits in a circle and the first person to start the game must say "I went to (Bride's name) Wedding and I ..." adding a sentence. The next person must then start from the beginning, saying what the first person said and then adding another sentence. You will need a white board so all the guests can see the drawings and a timer. Everyone writes down a wedding word and puts them into a bowl. Then in pairs, one picks a word and attempts to draw it on the board and the other has to guess what the word is. If the pair is successful they get a point, the pair with the most points at the end wins

The only catch is that every movie, song, book etc must be wedding related

This is a great icebreaker. Before the party make a list of wedding related words. Write these words on nametags and as each guest arrives give them a 'nametag'. The guest is not allowed to say their word. If someone hears a guest say the word the guest is wearing, the 'nametag' is given to the person. The guest with the most tags at the end of the night wins

Pass out a spool of thread (wool works better), ask each guest to break off as much thread as they think they will need. They will ask what it is for but just tell tham not to take too much but to be sure to get enough. It is funny to see some break off a long piece and some just a short piece. When everyone has their thread each person must tell about themselves and how they know the bride as they wrap the string around their finger, not stopping until the reach the end of the string. Some seem horrified as they look at their almost endless length of string. A really good ice breaker.

Provide each guest with a balloon that they must blow up, tie and break. In each balloon place a strip of paper that has a simple saying. One should have the wedding date, the guest to get that balloon wins a prize. Latex balloons work best as they are a little harder to break

A fun, quick game. Have everyone get their purses out, have the bride lread out a list of items and have each guest pull out that item, if they don't have it in their purse then they are removed, the winner is the one with the most in their purse.
