Does anyone get this???

I have these dreams sometimes...sometimes good sometimes bad, but I think to myself its ok, its a dream I can wake whenever I want! And I do!!! I can consciously make a decision to wake up when dreaming...does anyone else get this, or am I a freak??? laugh.gif Its been happening for probably the last 10 years or so, and Ive always wondered if its just me or not...

Sometimes, I will be aware that it's only a dream but it is a good dream so I keep dreaming it.

Hey Gorgeous... Yeh I've been able to do that too but only a few times. I have had a bad dream and then realised I was dreaming so I forced myself to wake up.

I've had dreams where I have woken up laughing my head off and not know why? I had an attack of the giggles and it woke Kevin up! He was laughing at me cos I was giggling so much, how bizarre is that? laugh.gif laugh.gif

I've been dreaming alot about the wedding lately... I've had 3 dreams just this week, they are becoming more frequent. They are not great dreams though, I dream that things go wrong and I'm distressed... Unfortunately they feel so real and I don't realise I'm dreaming at the time so can't wake up.

Have you ever woken up from a bad dream and then when you fell back asleep you continued the dream? Dreams are bizarre messages from the subconscious I reckon. unsure.gif

yeah I know I'm dreaming and can wake up sometimes. But then when I go back to sleep it will start of where I left it. I also wake up fully laughing myself stupid or will have a conversation with h2b and not recall a word of it the next day. Or I will "wake up" and think that I'm at work and start saying or doing stuff to do with whatever job I have at the time.

they're called lucid dreams if anyone's interested. Pretty much everyone gets them but like all aspects of dreaming not all people are able to remember it.

This happens to me often!

Actually only the other night I dreamt H2b and I broke up. I recall stopping and thinking is this a dream? In my dream I didn't want to be separated from him but found another boyfriend who proposed and I was thinking this is awful I want to be with real h2b and then I said to myself "oh thankgoodness this is only a dream" and woke up. When I woke up it was all very fresh in my mind.

A few weeks earlier I dreamt I lost my engagement ring. After what felt like a few mins of absolute panic I asked myself if I was dreaming and realised I was and said to myself "oh don't worry it is just a dream" and woke up straight away.

Very strange indeed smile.gif
