Guys,

I thought it was time again to bring up the rules of images in signatures.

The reason we have to put rules in place is that not everyone has cable and some are still on modem, so downloading images is obviously a much slower process.

Please do not make your signature image/s any larger than 10k. If you are multiple images, all of them together must not be more than 10k.

This just makes it far on everyone, as with the amount of members we now have, the board could suffer from overload!

Any issues, problems or question please let me know.

Cheers,

Lisa

Yeap wink.gif - 6.47kb's

Those tickers are around the 6/7 mark.

But the ones with the photos on them are around the 20kb mark - so I guess their all going to have 'go' sad.gif

Lisa I think there is going to be a lot of issues with this - most people's signatures are around the 20 - 30 mark.

You might also like to post this is the other forums as not to many people read in here - and would help if it was also pinned so its always here to refree to smile.gif

Large sigs and images bug me too - I would rather have the option of clicking to view images if I WANTED to.

And animated GIFs are sooooooooo 1995.

But anyway. I also *ahem* sneak the odd look at forums at work, so what I tend to do is to go into the forum options and disable images and sigs. Results in a much more pleasant browsing experience for me, AND anyone who catches a glimpse of a flashing picture in their peripheral vision and fall over in an epileptic fit.....

Does that mean you don't like my avator losfp?, (it's only 8kb.)

I thought it may bother some people, if I get a few more mentions that people don't like it. I will change it.

Sad to say, I haven't seen your or anyone else's avatars or sigs since about my 2nd day registered here! smile.gif

I disable them all by default, so I don't even get a chance to dislike them. Probably best that way!

Try right-clicking on them and selecting "properties" - that SHOULD tell you.

Hmmm... I right clicked on mine and its either waaaaay over (like 20,000) or I am looking at the wrong figure...

Can someone please give me a hand?
Well there's far too many questions to ask, to answer all of them tonight.
For I wear, too many masks, to tell if any of them are wrong or right.
And confusion casts a shadow upon me, like a great big cloud in the sky.
And now I pray for rain, cause it's been so long since I let myself cry ~

For so long, I've sang this sad ole song. And it feels like my time is up.
For she came and landed in my arms, and she filled my half empty cup.
Now I look up above me
and I thank that Great Old God in the sky, for telling me my cup ain't half empty.

Just took my little girl to show me why ~
