I really don't know what to do here.I have fairly pale, not to pale, but pale enough, skin tone. It's not even, like my shoulder area has never really seen sun light.I was wondering if i was to get a spray on tan, would the real pale areas look unusualy dark, or orange?i dont want to look fake or stupid, but i also dont want to look horribly white on my shoulder, chest area, then have brown arms, (because theyve seen day light).Ive tried solariums, but i dont feel safe with them, and it didnt do much anyway.....there's not many options.

For a friends wedding, I was a bridesmaid... all the three bridesmaids got spray tans, to be honest I didn't want one but the other two talked me in to it...

I have to tell ya... us three girls looked like Chico Babies (and that aint a good thing wink.gif)... i am pretty fair, it looked far too dark and really unnatural...

A friend of mine (a guest at the wedding) has said we looked like trophies (AGAIN NOT IN A GOOD WAY!!) standing up their whilst the bride and groom were saying their vows

Mind you I have seen some that are really natural looking... I think our lady was a dud!!!!! Thankfully, the bride did not get one...

I agree with Christy -SUNFX is the best brand!

Try it out before the weddings and let us know what you think biggrin.gif

Hi! I am also of a very pale skin tone and cannot tan naturally. I have found the most awesome spray tanning product. Try and find a place that uses Bonza Bronze. The tan is a good colour- they have different colours for different skin colours and it doesn't look orange. Make sure you try it first just to check the colour suits you. Good luck!!

I had one of these tans for my wedding. I had a trial first and that was the best thing to do. I found the day after I had the tan it looked a bit too dark for what I wanted but on day 2 the shade was great.

I have very pale skin in some areas and an uneven skin tone, lower arms much darker than upper arms and you honestly couldn't tell after I had the spray tan. I told the lady doing it I didn't want to look bronzed I just wanted the overall tone evened out and to give a little contrast between my skin colour and the white dress!

This photo is a fairly close up one showing my arms if you want to get an idea. Sorry I don't have a before shot to show you as I keep my upper arms covered!

I had sunfx tan done when I was bridesmaid a couple of months back. Was way too dark the day after and on day 2 was fine, however, on the wedding day it rained, and my tan streaked (and that was after 2 showers and moisturising), so if you were keen on one, definitely do a trial!

Just my experience! smile.gif

I had a spray on tan for my wedding along with one of my BM's and i looked hot..wink.gif i was really happy with the results..we ofcourse had a trial before hand and we used the cheaper brand and it went orange on both of us then very very streaky..was not happy at all..so we went for a second shot and used sunfx i am pretty sure - it was slightly more costly and it looked great!

a little DID come off on the inside of my dress apparently nuffin too dramatic, but i got it done on the thursday night before the wedding and by the staurday it looked really natural...ave a look at my pics

defnately take a trial tho because if u are pale u might not lile how dark they make u!

Hi girls, I provide a mobile spray tanning service in Brisbane (on the South side) and I use Aruba tans. The tans are not orange, and don't have to be too dark to look good. If you would like a more natural glow, this can be acheived by applying less. Having said this, I think that it is imperative that you have a trial at least a few weeks before the big day so that you can be confident that you will look fantastic.

I very fair aswell...and I also contemplated what to do re: tanning for the big day.

In the end, I decided to go as my natural pale self...and am happy with my decision.

I heard a horror story about a bride getting a spray tan..and it was too orange and all her wedding pics looks stupid because of it.

I also didn't want the hassle either.

It's up to you, but make sure you do your research as you only get one wedding day biggrin.gif
