I want a mix of pale pink & cream peonies.

Just found out over the weekend that peonies usually only flower until late December & I'm getting married mid-January!

Ooh! Will have to keep asking around before I change my mind because I've really got my heart set on them!

Ive just come back from my florist so im VERYYYYY excited. I am having bunches of pastel roses (mauve and pinks and white) with privet berry and camelia leaves around the posy base. Decided on short natural stems.

CANT WAIT TO SEE THE FINAL PRODUCT NOW!!

Wow - everyone's ideas sound so wonderful. I am getting married in September / late September and really want orchids and lillies (calla) - all white in a bouquet. Haven't worked out what I want for the bridesmaids though - have decided on their dresses, but I keep changing my mind on the colours - same with flower girls. At least the church flowers are organised - I don't get a say over those because the Cathedral florist does them and as they always look fabulous, I don't mind in the slightest, the colour.

I am having roses in shades of burgundy, pink and maybe cream. I have to take the bridesmaid fabric swatch (bridesmaids will be in burgundy, I'm in white) into the florist sometime to confirm exact colours but he was putting flowers together in the shop and the colours looked fantastic.

Mine will be a mix of pink & purple oriental lillies, lissianthas, mini gerberas & wired orchards trailing down. BM's are having a smaller version of my bouquet. The flowergirls are having a mix of gerberas & orchards in pinks & purples (very small version).

H2B will be having a buttonhole with a purple orchid & foliage to match the girls bouquets.

I was just reading my quote from the florist and it says that my bouquet has 60 tulips - I have been reading all of your replies and I think that sounds way too bulky! My BM's are having 40! huh.gif

What do you think?
