Count me in to! Would love to meet up with you. You could not find a better place to travel. Mind you the snuggling by the fire may be a good idea - the weather is rather cool at the moment.

BTW Prinny sorry I have been awol for a while. If you still need some help pls contact me.

Debb.

Alright - we're in Hobart on March 28 and 29 and maybe 30. At 9.30am on the 29th we're doing the Cadbury tour. You girls are welcome to join us, but otherwise, would Mrs Thingo like to organise for us i-do girls to have a coffee somewhere?

I don't know my way around Hobart and I'll have to find out where we are staying but we'll have a car, so if you just pick somewhere I'll be able to meet you.

Only 3 sleeps to go!

Hey, I am a former Tassie girl, also a former Perth girl, now a Sydney girl (in case you all are wondering where my funny accent comes from! biggrin.gif ).

When I took my fiance to Tassie (his first time), we went to Cradle Mountain for a few nights. If you want fireside snuggling, this place is the best! Mind you, we went in June and it was true fire weather, complete with snow. But still, it is beautiful and tranquil. We had one of the best meals ever at the lodge restaurant. On that subject, you have not eaten until you have tasted good Tasmanian food.

Make sure you eat a lot - chocolate (Cadbury, naturally), cheese (Ashgrove has some of the best cheese ever), chocolate truffles and fudge (D'Anvers is soooo good). Also on your travels if you see signs for strawberry/raspberry farms, definately pull in and go fruit picking, nothing is better than eating fruit that you have picked yourself. Also try some of the fruit wines (strawberry wine is luscious and potent).

Don't feel guilty - you will feel worse if you visit Tassie and don't sample the fruit of its loins. After all, the wedding will be over by then, so you can let yourself go a bit!! (I hope that's how it works anyway!)

PS not trying to plug any specific places/companies, and no doubt there are millions more that are just as deserving of a plug, but these are just some that I lie awake at night yearning for. Also there is a lot more to Tassie that just the food, but it is definately a high point!
