If it was deleted because it was discussing a non advertiser then I don't understand why I wasn't at least warned about it being deleted so I could cut & copy what advice had already been given to me (aside from the fact that I do what everyone else does and use codes to communicate without publicising).

And for the record I've come away pursing the advice that was given (to question which photographer would be taking the photo's) and decided it wasn't worth the $ spent not to be getting the artist that got us through the door in the first place.

But oh well I guess I'll just have to explain it in a new thread?

Am I allowed to ask about Y@nn Le B*rre? (taking into consideration he advertises)?

Signed: Confused.

OMG we looking at the same photographers.....I LOVED BluM3nthal but last week got so turned off as their prices were not what they stated you had to spend so much extra to get a proper album and I just found it misleading.
I looked at Yann and liked work...taking them in consideration too.

Not sure if you're still looking, but the photographer we're using is amazing. Will PM you.

I know what you mean about BluM3nthal. Saw their stall at the Bridal expo. Loved the photos, then saw their packages which I thought was reasonable at first. Then when I started talking to one of the ladies there, she was saying something about paying more depending on the album you get. I thought it said on the flyer that the album was already part of the package! Definitely misleading...

Anyway, still looking for a photographer, so can anyone PM me also if you have any suggestions.

Wedding's in November!

Totally over the moon. Just booked our photographer after a very stressful week.

The style is exactly the same as Blumenth@l's only they charge 1/2 as much and are less constricting & misleading.

We will have the owner photographing us: who just so happens to be the one who photographed D@n Blumenth@l's wedding! (he actually used to work for them).

If anyone wants his details pls PM me and I will be happy to recommend him.

(can't believe I got my dress & photographer in 2 days straight: 2 of the most important things to me all in one) wub.gif

I can second Leisa's recommendation as I had a similarly distasteful experience with Blumenth@l & booked this guy too - he's awesome, really nice & knows what good customer service is.

At Blumenth@l, we were told we couldn't book Dan because he was 'on hold' for a celebrity couple's wedding - it's not a fair first in-first served process there at all, only what's in it for them. I'm so happy with my decision now & if anyone is ever considering Blumenth@l, I'd be happy to recommend a much better alternative biggrin.gif

Hi Guys,

I've just got back from 7 weeks in Burma and India so am slowly getting through all my emails as well as forums messages!

Not sure what happened to the thread, did someone email Tim (tim@i-do.com.au) as he was looking after everything whilst i was away.

Cheers,

Hi Lisa! Welcome back! I hope you enjoyed your time away biggrin.gif

Thank you very much for checking in on my thread - no we didn't end up asking Tim but I guess not it's not too big a deal now; I ended up with a positive outcome after all biggrin.gif

It was really quite strange - but it's all good now xxx/ooo

Thanks again biggrin.gif

Leisa.
