I'm a psychologist, I currently work for a charity in Sydney as a gambling counsellor.

I'll be going back to uni in a couple of weeks to start my PhD, getting back to my original interests in child psychology. I'll stay on at work part time, & will have a scholarship to theoretically cover living expenses.

I'm a police officer and as much as I love my jobs most days, I'm definitely starting to look at what I'd like to do next.

I'm thinking about going back to study and doing something in relation to tourism or veternairy nursing. It's just about finding the time to do them whilst still working full time shift work. I don't think I want to continue working shift work when our little one comes along, hence the looking into other career alternatives. I'm actually thinking of putting in a couple of job applications in this week in relation to what I studied at uni (social science/work). So wish me luck, I haven't written a CV/resume in over 5 years and wouldn't even know where to start.

I'd also like to be a SAHM for a good majority of next year when our little bundle of joy arrives but I don't think that will be feesible, so it will be straight back to work for me unless we have a lovely win fall between now and then.

I'm an Insurance Co-Ordinator for a credit union in Canberra. I manage our insurance portfolio of both General (Car, Home Contents, Boat etc) and LRI ( Loan Repayment Insurance). This involves liasing with our insurer, doing a lot of reporting, reconcilliations and my fav part which is the sales and motivation side - I basically motivate our staff to sell the products. At the moment I love my job but hate the people that I work with, so I am looking for another job. I would love to be able to find something similar but I don't like my chances. My degree is actually in tourism tho!!!! blink.gif

H2B works as a plumber and I stay at home.

I am doing a small buisness management course thru correspondance. I also do H2B's daily notes for work, weekly invoive, handle all the money side of things and shopping etc.

Basically we are in the situation to do it this way and we both love that this is the way it is smile.gif

Well when I was in Australia, I worked as a management accountant - doing budget, analysis, reports etc etc all the mundane stuff. Now, I am living in the UK I am working for a motor dealer who are in the process of installing a new dealer management system so I am training all the accountants, admin staff and sales people how to use the system and then when they have problems, they come to me.
