Hi, smile.gif

I know there is always a wide variance but just curious to see what's the current rates that are common for 8.5yr old pocket money? Going into year 3 at school for 2015.

I know some people separate chores from pocket money and some don't and we have our ideas set on that topic already so not really wanting to head down that discussion path.

What I am really interested in what sort of $ figures are common to give us a starting point.

Most of his friends are away atm so cant check there.

TIA for any info

5.5yo here,
Going into yr1, and $5 pocket money weekly. She can choose to bank it at school banking or spend it. She usually spends it on junk

Can I ask what they do for pocket money? I have a son the same age who wants the world and would love to get him doing chores for money, but getting him to do a basic pick up is even an all out argument

Is there any felicity in the world superior to this?
