i think the tighter curls DEFINITELY look too 'boofy' pinned up... the combination of the two is a bit over the top i think, especially as you have so much length in your hair anyway...

I would go looser (possibly something in between, to allow for it dropping a little) and once it's pinned up a bit (I love the part in the tight curls pics) it will look even better!

I agree with everyone else.

I think the tighter curls look better.

I like the look of the looser curls around your face - they look like they have fallen out a bit at the ends but I am guessing a hairdresser would be able to address that.

So for me it is curls like those around your face that I like best - very soft and feminine.

Nat I think the tight curls are not as flattering as the looser ones... obviously you look beautiful either way but I really much prefer the looser look.

Yeah Melissa, I was watching Neighbours and I loved everything about Izzy, the dress, the hair, the earrings, the makeup! I think I'm gonna go on a search to find a picture of her just to refresh my memory smile.gif

Me too! I thought she looked gorgeous, and seriously thought of you Nat!

I think I said "I love her dress" or "I love her hair-do" and "I love her earrings" about 20 times throughout the show, H2B thought I was nuts and told me "you've already got your dress, too late to take it back now"

Lucky for me I'm too short and squat for a dress like that to look any good on anyway smile.gif

I agree with the looser curls - definitely! I totally see what you mean about the 'bouffiness' of the tighter curls - way too 80s! Plus you have such gorgeous hair it totally covers it up.

The looser curls look much softer & more romantic (more the look you're after I think). & if they drop to waves by the end of the night it will still look fabulous.

Just go for what you feel comfortable with - you're a beautiful girl & will look absolutely stunning on the day smile.gif

I also missed Izzy so if anyone has any pics please point me in the right direction! Thanks!

Oh to have curls!

you can have mine if you want Miranda, they suck. i would love to have sleek straight hair, its so funny how we always want what we don't have.

Sorry to get away from the topic Nat, i really like the loose curls, when i first saw the tighter ones i thought that they looked a little 80's and didn't suit at all.

but........ (and this is just my opinion) i really like your hair striaght nat, i think it really suits you and in your pics with your dress on it looks so much nicer. if your going to go ahead and have the big eye-catching neck piece then maybe something simple with the hair would look good.

But thats just me, you look stunning with any hair style (and i'm not just saying that - your a really pretty girl)

Hey Nat

I really liked your original hair do when I first saw it but I feel your DIY job leaves it for dead. Its so modern yet elegant. Reminds me of Nicole Kidman's lovely locks in Cold River or Moon River or whatever that awesome movie is called.

AWESOME.

And I reckon just lacquer her up and the curls will stay in the whole day.
