Because my one-armed mother always did her bra up behind her back, it never occurred to me to do it any other way, but over the years, I've discovered that not everyone can do it. Can you?

Until then I will continue to torch all correspondence that bores me and to dance naked over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

My mum was a spinner so that's how I learned to do it. If I try really hard, I possibly could, but having a large cup size means I rarely get one with less than three hooks, even though my back size is an 8 or 10.

So, a question for the talented ladies who can do it up behind their back - are we talking two hooks or more?

I can do it behind my back, but generally do it around the front then spin it. That's the way my mum showed me how to do it, and how she always did it so it just stuck. I do it behind my back sometimes, but it's a bit painful these days with my arms. I feel a bit slack saying that after hearing that your mum does it with just one arm!

I didn't know there was any other way to do it?

Yep, usually 3 or more hooks.

I'm impressed about your Mum, Daybreak - that is pretty awesome. I don't think I'd have the strength to hold on and clasp with one hand!

3 hooked behind my back here. I find spinning it around annoying.

Always at the back and generally 3 or more clasps - I never thought of doing it any other way, except if for some reason I couldn't reach (like my mum, with tenosynivitis in her wrists).

Eta - oops, clicked the wrong button when voting, so count an extra yes for me.

Behind the back - 3 hooks for me. I've never done it any other way.

Ditto. 3 hooks. behind back. it would feel bizarre to flip it from the front!

Nope, I'm a spinner. I can't do it up behind my back to save my life- AND I haven't got any mobility issues to blame.

If I ever made it to the US, I'd go crazy bulk- buying those front-clasp ones. Why don't they have them here???

Behind the back here.
I started doing the twist as a teen but changed somewhere along the way.
I could also do up a torsolette behind my back-20 hooks, no problem! I think once you can do it you can just do it.

development is a journey, not a race

I bust out of front clasp ones too and I'm only a full C cup and D in some brands..

I can do both, usually do it at the back upside down (make sense)?
