I think it's a mix of pregnancy and chasing the boys around. I am anaemic anyway because of a blood disorder but my OB is happy for me not to take iron supplements yet. I have a nasty cold now which isn't helping, so I'm just trying to rest as much as I can with 3 very active boys to chase after lol.

Bugger about the morning sickness, I hope it doesn't last long. My morning sickness was very much like that, vomiting in the morning, would ease after a couple of house and then hit me like a tonne of bricks in the afternoon/night. Now it's just hitting me at night, as soon as I feel it coming on I go to bed, so it's not too bad.

Yeah my boobs have been the most sore and sensitive this time, I remember it only lasted a couple of weeks with the boys, I'm 13 weeks now and they still hurt and keep getting bigger, I've already gone up a cup size.

When do you have your first ultrasound marbles?

First ultrasound is tomorrow at 12:30 pm. Was supposed to be yesterday, but they keep shifting the appointment. Being IVF they do a scan at 6 weeks to check for a heartbeat. Tomorrow I'll be 6W 6d, so if there's going to be a heartbeat, it should definitely be there by now.

I plan on heaving a giant sigh of relief when I see the scan, I feel like I've been holding my breath for the last three weeks.

I hear you on the cold, I've also come down with a hideous one. Too much to do on the work front to be sick, plus a toddler who has decided sleep is the devil again, and here I am.

Hope you're feeling much better soon!

Ohhh I forgot to come back and update. Scan was excellent. Baby measuring smack on for dates and heartbeat was about 140 bpm. This pregnancy is tracking very similarly to our first. Including the HG, which has been getting worse. I'm on six lots of meds a day currently, which is controlling the vomiting, but the hideous nausea is still there.

Ms Jess how are you feeling?

Is there anyone else out there who can join us? Surely there must be someone else by now! laugh.gif

Hi marbles, glad to hear everything went well with your scan. Sucks about the HG though, I hope it doesn't last all of your pregnancy.

My dates have changed again from my NT scan, now due 17th Dec but I have my delivery date all booked for my c-section.

I'm feeling ok, I still have that stupid cold, but it's better, just a cough now. Morning sickness comes and goes, I feel sick if I haven't eaten for a while and I feel sick in the evenings still when I get really tired, but it's easily managed, I just go to bed when it hits.

I'm all booked in for my morph scan in just under 3 weeks, I was going to find out the sex, but have decided to keep it a surprise again, I have a lot of scans at the end of the pregnancy, so If I change my mind there is still plenty of time to find out.

You're a stronger woman that I, we just have to know the sex. We won't tell anyone, but we loved knowing before everyone else last time, so we'll do the same this time.

Sorry to hear your cold is still hanging around. I've had a whopping cold and (the joys of pregnancy) a hideous cold sore the last 10 days. They've finally started to clear thankfully.

I hope your MS racks off soon, it's certainly hung around. Like you, I can help keep mine under control by eating small amounts often. I just had my pre bed snack (if I don't have it, I'll wake in a few hours and have to vomit - the pay off for having dinner at 5:30 pm with the toddler!) of savoys with vegemite, and a cup of tea. Hopefully the HG doesn't stay the whole pregnancy, it certainly makes the days drag!

How are you travelling Marbles?

I had my morph scan on Friday, apart from bub measuring small everything looks good. We were concerned about my placenta being low, it is quite low (within 3 cm of my cervix) but it's not covering my c-sect scar or my cervix and the radiographer said it will move up, so that's a relief, I may have to have another scan to make sure it's moving, but I'll find out more when I see my OB next week.

And we stayed strong and didn't find out the sex.

Honestly, I'm shocking. Still really sick, but our NT scan is tomorrow and then we'll reveal. Then I won't have to try and hide the constant puking!

Glad to hear you're ok, and bub is also ok. Good news about the placenta! That must be a relief. We've had two scans already and everything looks fine, but tomorrow we'll really know for sure.

You poor thing, I really hope the morning sickness goes away soon. All the best for your NT scan today, I'll be hanging out for the reveal!

Ms Jessica, it's me. smile.gif NT scan seems to have been a-ok, still waiting for the results, but everything looked fine (although it did take over 2 hours, very uncooperative baby!).

How are you traveling?

I know there's a few more summer babies via Facebook, so maybe some people will come and join us now!

Was I that transparent?! laugh.gif

I'm still really unwell. I just wish I could wake up and the sickness was gone (but then I'd be worried something was wrong), also my SPD from last time has already reared its ugly head again, although it's settled down again for now and I'm having regular physio and hope to keep it better under control.

Other than that I'm great. I look like the side of a house, but hey, that goes with the territory!

How are you? smile.gif
