That's awful! She should be grateful to be getting grandchildren at all!

That's really sad. sad.gif

How is she with your children now?

Another pregnancy symptom here today - splitting nails. It's amazing the little things that happen so early on.

Wow! She sounds like a piece of work. How awful for your little family. sad.gif

Splitting nails is nothing compared to the nausea and vomiting some of you are experiencing.

Oh Cobie, She sounds horrid sad.gif at least you are in a different state to her.

Morning sickness has been a shocker here! way worse then with the first two. But at least it's not vomiting just queasiness all day and night long.

We had our scan on Friday and all looked good. Baby was measuring 6w2d with a due date of 1st October (DS2 birthday is 29th September and I was 7 days early with him). Heard that beautiful heartbeat which was beating at 118bpm wub.gif

We haven't purchased anything yet, we don't really need much. I was thinking of getting the arms reach co-sleeper as both the boys liked to cosleep for the first 6 weeks but I'm not sure if it will be a waste since they both preferred to sleep right in the nook of my arm. I also need to buy some sleepy wings which I plan to use from birth and if we have a girl we will need some clothes. The only I other think I really really want but don't know if I will be able to convince hubby is a Baby Jogger City Select since DS2 will still be using the pram (currently we have a side by side stroller suitable from birth but I really love the BJCS). Oh and will need a new monitor as well but just the video attachment to hook up to the one we already have.

We will be finding out the sex, we have with the last two so will with this one as well. We won't keep it a secret but we will be keeping the name a secret (we did the same with DS1 and DS2).

I hope everyone is travelling well!

That's great about your scan! Sorry to hear about your nausea. sad.gif

I've been pretty lucky this week. I've had no more of it for some reason.

At dinner tonight I was jealous of everyone else eating coleslaw. Waaaah!

I have an appointment with my dr this arvo, so I am going to ask for 2 blood tests to see my levels and if they are still rising, etc..

Great idea. The fact they could see a heart beat is a good sign.

Keep us posted with your results Cobie. Hoping you get an early appointment so you don't have to wait long.

Nausea is back and I can only have iced water etc if from a very fine edged (not chunky) glass. Not high maintenance at all. rolleyes.gif

This nausea thing is so weird. I can drink milk or soft drink so much easier than water. I'm off bread, but toast is okay. I can't bear the thought of drinking the ginger beer that might actually help...

I am really looking forward to the 12 week mark. Hopefully the vomiting finishes and just to see that little person will be such an enormous relief. I can't believe how much they change over that time. From 7 weeks to 12 it's amazing

I hope the nausea lifts for everyone soon.

I'm just looking forward to my second first dating scan.

There was a bit of confusion on my obs' nurse's behalf last week so all we could see was the sac. So disappointing. sad.gif

Back there we go this coming week.
