I'm after a pair of flat, black leather, casual sandals, that are not so uncomfortable that I can't even wear them in! My last two pairs have been downright painful once I wear them for a little while, so I end up not wearing them. My feet are a little wide, but not terribly so, and a quite average size at 7.5 (though that 0.5 can be a problem sometimes) I don't want to spend a fortune, but I am willing to spend $100 or so if they're quality and will last me a few years so I don't have to go through this again!

I got a pair of lovely comfy flat leather sandals the year before last, and have worn them practically all summer for the last 2 years and they are still in great nick and will easily last me another few summers. They are Supersoft from Diana Ferrari, and I think they were about $120.00?

I got some from Jo Mercer in October last year and they are awesome. They are $99 I think but they are having a sale so you might get them cheaper.

I am a teacher and need something I can wear all day and these are awesome.

They are so good I now have them in ivory and orange now too!!

I got these for Christmas- http://www.merrell.c...na?dimensions=0

I've worn them constantly. They are so comfy! They are somewhat pricey at $160, but worth it, I think. I got the awesome yellow ones, but they come in black too biggrin.gif

There's a store that stocks Merrels not too far away, so I'll check them out. And I've got a great pair of Supersoft ballet flats (sadly almost dead)...

Diana Ferrari has lots of shoes on sale at the moment - nothing more than $60.

I got my last pair of casual sandals from a surf shop. They were about $30 and they're incredibly comfortable. Not the most obvious place for shoes, but great for casual stuff.

You should also check out Kenneth Cole.
I have these

I know they are a thing but I have them in black crocodile skin (not real) and they do have other sandle types that are quite dressy.

Birkenstocks is very comfortable but it is expensive. You can find cheap sandals inspired by Birkenstock in Aldo, Target and Nordstrom.
