I am so sad - I can't think of anything to type - she was such a beautiful and inspiring person. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and especially Lily, so incredibly tragic.

Loving being a mummy and a wife

My deepest condolences to Alicia's family and friends. She was my inspiration to sign up for the 12 wbt & was always so encouraging & supportive. A beautiful soul taken too soon.

Another who was inspired by Alicia to undertake the 12wbt program. Her bravery and strength were admirable. Alicia had such a positive and happy soul.

I know she still held high hopes for recovery; just last week she was talking of going to Germany for some new treatments. And I had hoped she would at least make it through Christmas and to the holidays she had planned with her family.

So sad sad.gif

My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Such sad news. I didn't realise it had progressed as quickly as it did.

My thoughts are with her family, especially her little girl.

I just popped in to check in today and I’m greeted with this.

Absolutely devastating. Such awful, awful news.

Life is so disgustingly unfair at times. Thinking of her family xxx

"It's impossible" said pride.
"It's risky" said experience.
"It's pointless" said reason.
"Give it a try" whispered the heart...

I am also disappointed that she didn't get Christmas with Lily and her beach holiday sad.gif

I am heartbroken. Alicia gave me support when Bronte was born with hearing loss and she met up with me and shared items with me that helped with keeping her hearing aids on etc... I really enjoyed meeting her, she was so bubbly and was such a lovely mum. My heart aches for Lily's loss sad.gif

I am so saddened to hear this. I had no idea she was that ill. It's awful that it happened so close to Christmas.

My thoughts are with Ali's husband and with Lily, as well as with those who knew Ali personally. She had a wonderful positivity and genuine care for others in need - her presence will be missed here, so I can't imagine how much she'll be missed by those who know and love her.

RIP Alicia. xx

We lost FIL to the same illness earlier this year, and it progressed so quickly in terms of its effect on his body, but he was still his usual self right up until the end in terms of personality and cognition etc. It is both a blessing and a curse really. Even still, I couldn't believe it when I saw your post this morning that she was gone, after reading her posts just 2 days ago. It is heartbreaking sad.gif
