I'm just on 30 weeks.
I don't think I'll need insulin - my results were just on the cut off for have GD. As it is I only see the diabetes educator and dietician in a group session on Monday. I don't see the endocrinologist until August 25th!
How's everything going with you? Is Lucas (that's right, isn't it?) excited about being a big brother?

All going well, except the kidney thing and being stiff and sore! I'm not tired, which is lovely, but am much slower this time around! I start maternity leave relatively early (34 weeks) but I'm very happy to have a bit of a break! It was getting very hard to sit in an office chair all day.

L is very happy to get a sibling. Not so keen to share his Mummy- trying to negotiate his way out of that. (They can have daddy and I will keep you). He's also offered to perform a c-section on me :S (I will chop the baby out of you with scissors!)
So I think it will go relatively well but I do anticipate some minor hiccups.

That's a bit scary! I love that he's trying to negotiate division of parents though!

The information on GD wasn't as depressing as I expected - my afternoon Milo is safe, as is my pasta. My baking, not so much, but even then some things might be okay. It does have me counting down to when I can eat normally again though.

Hi lovelies, just a quick pop-in to let you know my little boy arrived a little earlier than expected last Wed the 16th, at 37+4 weeks. A routine Ob appt on the 14th turned ino hospital admission with a quick onset of preeclampsia so I was induced a few days later.

It was a beautiful drug free 4 hour labour. Miles Bennett arrived at 12:38pm Wed July 16, weighing 8lbs15oz. He ha a rocky start with a bit of time spent in special care but he's perfect and healthy now. Smitten with my littlest man wub.gif

well, at 36+3 I'm feeling pretty darned huge. My stomach has definitely passed that critical mass where your jeans no longer stay up (even maternity jeans!) so I spend my time pulling my pants up all the time. Charming!
I got my hair cut yesterday so I feel all nice and up to date and ready for whatever happens now. still haven't put towels on the bed in case my waters break or anything. I'm just disorganised tongue.gif

I have DS at home today, and he has a playdate with one of his little friends this afternoon. I had plans of having the house spotless, but I think I must have forgotten that I have a 3 year old tongue.gif

Also, I dropped my mobile phone today and the screen stopped working. Total bummer - too bad if I do anything stupid like going into labour while out and about! I don't think anything will happen any time soon - think I'll make it to c-section date fairly smoothly. But you can never be sure. I'm such a klutz!

Just to update in here- baby arrived on Monday aftera bit ofa fall triggered labour. Ironically I see the last thing I wrote in here was that I am a klutz!

Baby born by emergency c-sec at 6:09 on Monday. I'm sore and tired and wasa bit disappointed as things hadn't gone to plan but after two dramatic baby entries you would think i would be used to it!

Baby isa boy and he is gorgeous. X
