Hi girls. Surely there are some June/July/August 2014 mums-to-be out there? My due date is 22 August 2014 or thereabouts.

Congratulations Dandy Lion!!!!!! wub.gif

Technically I should be in this group with you Dandy Lion as I'm due in early June but there was no one else so I joined up with the March/April/May group. Hopefully we'll get some more people in here with us too. I'm hoping there are some ladies out there that have been keeping things secret until 12 weeks that will pop in and join us.

Hello smile.gif

I got my positive test yesterday afternoon! Due 27 August. I have decided to go anon but I doubt many people will know me as I haven't been around for a while.

I have woken up with some cramping, I don't remember that with baby 1 so hoping everything is ok.

Hi Dandy Lion, Zina and Babynumber2, I'll join you in here.

I had a dating scan on Monday (due to bleeding) and saw a little baby in there with a good heartbeat, at 120bpm. So I'm around 6 weeks 5 days pregnant now and due on 24 August.

My bleeding stopped on Monday but has started lightly again today. I'm a little worried but am just sitting around resting.

How are you?

Welcome - glad to have more people on board. biggrin.gif Dandy Lion and myself have been mainly posting in the March/April/May thread as it was a little quiet around here.

Babynumber2 - I had a bit of cramping in the early days. It was quite disconcerting. I would constantly be going to the toilet just to check. I hope that things are going well for you.

up_the_duff - I think that light bleeding and stopping can be somewhat normal. You've obviously spoken to your MW/Ob? if you've been booked in for a dating scan. We had one too just after 6 weeks as I have long cycles. I hope that the bleeding stops. Something it can be caused by the embryo embedding into the lining in your uterus. Did you see a heart beat during your scan?

Not much to report here from me. Just had my anatomy scan. We're having identical boys but we found that out a couple of weeks ago. Due to the type of twin they are we are high risk as they share a placenta. Just have to have lots of scans to monitor everything as we have been diagnosed stage one TTTS (one baby gets too much nutrients and the other not enough). Right now they are stable even though the twin on the left is a little smaller. The Obs is happy though so that is great. Also had MW appointment and got to hear the babies heart beats. Always blows my mind.

Hi again everyone, sorry I have forgotten my password so I'm stuck with one computer, which I misplaced (and just found).

Zina, twin boys - identical, how very cool! I hope all your tests are coming back well. Do you have a new update?

How is everyone else going?

As for me - I've actually been very sick this past week with terrible gastro. Ended up in hospital all day Friday. I got my results on Monday evening, I have campylobacter, which, similar to salmonella, is transmitted through undercooked chicken. I had the most awful gastro for a week, but I started on antibiotics yesterday and think I'm improving now.
As you can imagine, it's had me very worried for the baby, but the GP has said that as long as I stay dehydrated things should be ok.
What a start to a pregnancy!
On the bright side, the bleeding has stopped (it stopped prior to gastro starting), and I see my obs for my first visit on Monday.

welcome and congratulations cobie1987! Very exciting news! It's good to have someone else join.
How are you? Have you had any morning sickness or symptoms yet?

I'm also off coffee, even decaf. I'm not sure how much of that is pregnancy and how much is gastro though! I haven't really had much morning sickness this time (last time was really bad). The most I have is a little dizziness in the morning and an unsettled feeling in my stomach. There have been times I've wished for worse morning sickness this time around... then I remember what it was like and slap myself (metaphorically).

Haven't really had sore boobs, but they're definitely bigger than they were. The tiredness though! Oh, I could sleep all day (again, I'm not sure if that's from the gastro or pregnancy).

It feels strange to have so few symptoms this time around.

Hi girls! Can you believe I haven't been in here pretty much since I started the group because I assumed there was nobody here (because I was the only BFP in November in the TTC threads…not remembering that some i-do gals don't come into the TTC threads blush.gif ). I had no idea there was anyone else in here but yay that there is!

My symptoms at the moment are on and off nausea which is worst at night. No vomiting but I did dry reach a few times earlier sad.gif I'm hoping to get past this soon. I can't wait for the second trimester. I also have sore boobs and breathlessness. I had quite a bit of cramping in the early weeks but that has mostly subsided now.

Shall we make a list of appointments?

Hi Dandy Lion,

Sounds like we're all getting off relatively easily with morning sickess so far. On and off nausea doesn't sound like a lot of fun though.

Good idea making a list of appointments! You seem very organised... is it bad that I haven't booked my NT scan yet? I know the obs I'm going to see uses a specific ultrasound place and I don't know what they're called so I can't book.

I've got my first obs appointment on Monday, which I'm glad about. I'm a little unsettled about how things are after my gastro.
I'm on an antibiotic which I have an awful reaction to, but it's the only one that is safe in pregnancy which works for this type of food poisoning. So no morning sickness, but currently have constant dizziness, tiredness, light headedness and confusion - hooray! tongue.gif I'm nearly halfway through the course, so at least I know there is an end in sight.

My obs has a first appointment between 8 and 10 weeks, so my first one is on Monday (9w 1d). I also filled in the forms to book into the hospital. I can't remember what I've done before, so hopefully I'm not jumping the gun. The hospital seemed quite happy with my calling. One thing ticked off the list!

Hi everyone. Like Cobie, I'm actually due in September, but everything is a bit new for me to feel comfortable starting that thread!
I'm due September 22, which is BIL's birthday and the day before Niece2's birthday, but that sort of thing is ridiculously common in Husband's family!
Saw GP this morning, she sent me for blood tests and told me to come back when I've decided on a Obs. No idea how to decide on that! I have one friend who recently delivered at a hospital I'm considering, and another who will deliver at the other hospital in March, but I don't know how to ask about their OBS without letting on that I'm pregnant!

Also MS kicked in this morning.. Everything is making me want to be sick..

Oh, you poor thing! My GP this morning said it usually kicks in around 6 weeks, so I guess you're right on schedule! I'm hoping to avoid it - Mum never had it, and I do not throw up (I did a couple of years ago, it was horrible, I'd like to never repeat the experience!)
