Hi,
My fiancée and I are having our reception at longworth house in scott st newcastle . We would love a garden ceremony but my fiancée isn't fussed on the public nature of king Edward park. I was wondering if anyone had any other ideas for somewhere a bit more private?

Not the most romantic location but you'd get some great panorama shots from up on Fort Scratchley

We had ours at the rotunda out the back of Burwood Colliery Sports Club in Whitebridge. Not quite a garden as such but was beautiful and definitely much more private than King Edward Park.

Thanks for the suggestions. We went and had a look around newcastle today actually and looked at both those places. We are worried burwood is too far from our reception and didnt know if you could just have a ceremony there.
We looked at king Edward park again and it is beautiful when its not crowded. Our issue is that we arent fond of having people sitting having a picnic a few metres from our ceremony. It seems there isnt realy a way around it though.
