I'm thinking of starting one in my area and would like feedback from anyone who is in one.

Cheers!

No, but I would be interested in something like that if we had one around here.

We do an unofficial sort of coop within our family..... my BIL and PILs have vegie gardens like we do and we try and alternate crops a bit so that we can swap between us. We built our place and designed our garden so when we were putting in fruit trees we made sure we put in different fruits to what my PILs had in their yard. This way we can swap fruit between us over summer.

Your little family one sounds great Tigridia!

I've now started one in my area and have 11 members.

I'm looking forward to seeing how it will develop.

Now to gather large BPA free containers!

Organic where possible, items such as grains, types of rice, flours, seeds, nuts etc together with ethically sourced meat, eggs etc. Fruit and veg will make an appearance too.

I'm wanting to live a cleaner healthier life so this is a step for me in the right direction.

I didn't know of any in my area so I started my own.

Yes, it will be mostly online with a few phone calls.

I've made it a Facebook group for people in our area.

I've also asked members if they know of suppliers, farmers etc.

Here is a link which I've found useful:
