Firstly I am a total novice, I usually just listen to the radio, however I am starting to run and need some music to run to. I have an el cheapo mp3 player, so where do I get my music from? Obviously I have heard of iTun3s, however doesn't that only work on macs and 'i' things?

Told you I had no idea laugh.gif laugh.gif

I only use itun3s. It does work on non Mac computers!
If you have a PC (any kind) you can download itun3s to the computer (there is a Mac version and a PC version, so choose the PC version when you download it) then download your songs through that. You can then plug your MP3 player into the USB port on your computer and transfer the music over to the MP3 player.

The music will also stay in your computer in your itun3s library, so you have the music on both devices.

Here is a link to download itun3s itself:
www.apple.com/au/itunes/download/

Hope that helps! smile.gif

ETA you can also burn your physical CDs into your itun3s library so you don't have to buy them again on itun3s.

Thank you so much for the info. Off to look at itun3s now.

I did wonder if you were able to convert CD's to MP3's so did a google last night and found out I even had the program on my machine to do it, however it has been a very long time since I last bought a CD!

You can actually convert you tube clips to MP3 here:

if you cut the link to the video and past it it will convert it to mp3 for you.
